Went on to their website and it said the order was cancelled 5 days later I left a bad review and all of a sudden it is not cancelled and pushed threw. Absolutely shocking lack of service and communication. Avoid them
Really nice shop. I always pop in for a browse. Smells really good of books. The staff is always so nice. There is a guy who works there sometimes and he always says "Hi" to me. He's very handsome. I like to look through the store and wonder what life would be like if I learnt to read. But overall, it's a really good store. Highly recommend.
Couldn't find a specific manga volume ANYWHERE in the UK - saw on the Blackwell's website that they had a copy in the Liverpool store that could be collected in-store, but I lived on the opposite side of the country - so upon emailing them and receiving a phone call, they were so helpful and friendly, and posted the book to me without any issue or problems - very amiable and professional service from both gentlemen email & in-store, would happily buy from them again :D
Really helpful, professional,lovely staff. I would highly recommend this shop. Even if you're looking for a book that may not have in store they will help order it in and you can get it delivered to your house
Good selection of books, difficult to find titles as the layout is a little confusing for that reason I have only given it 3 stars

The new blackwells shop is such a breathe of fresh air. Amazing layout to the store with lots of great sections. I was impressed to see such a diverse selection of books. The expansion of the LGBT+ section is a great addition, as is the graphic novel section. There's a fantastic Nero coffee shop in the shop too which makes the trip even more enjoyable. The LGBT book/discussion group is held there and is a really nice welcoming group. Its facilitated by their store manager who is really friendly and gets you settled into the group in no time. The staff members there were really helpful and there seemed to be a fantastic atmosphere within the shop. Spotlessly clean and well maintained too. Its been years since ive been to the old blackwells store as it seemed outdated and aimed towards academics, the new store is so different.... Ill definitley be going there again when book buying.
I visited for an author reading and QandA. From my perspective, the venue is a little out of the way but being in the midst of the Liverpool University Campus is ideally located for the students who visit the city.
Staff are really friendly , very helpful and will even order things for you if they can and will contact you promptly. Would highly recommend this branch of Blackwell's
Friendly staff who can't do enough to help you. If they don't have a book, they will find it for you. Perfect for university students.
