Some of the models are amazing. We visited on a Sunday and it was nice and calm. Wasn’t too busy. We were given a quiz and a sheet to look out for pesky gnomes. It certainly made sure that you never missed anything. The quiz was easy for kids to do and the gnome hunting would keep them entertained. Only £10 roughly an adult, fully recommend
We came to Black Model Villsge last Monday and it was a lovely day out! They had a large variety of models and had everything you could think of from a church, to a hotel, to a fire station, to a school. There is definitely something for everyone here and it is a day out that the whole family will enjoy. There is a quiz to guide you around the model village so you don't miss anything! The toilets were clean and the ice cream from the cafe was delicious. The plants around the model village were beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely return!
I visited mid-August on a weekday and had a lovely hour or two, wandering the gardens, enjoying the displays, and following the treasure hunt.nnI can’t give it 5 stars as it’s in need of doing up, and so I don’t feel it’s appropriately priced, and parking isn’t included.nnI paid I think £9 or so because I had a £1 discount leaflet which is a lot considering I had to drive up and down the road looking for a free parking space as they charge £3 to park your car - that really should be deducted from the ticket price.nnIt’s a lovely couple of hours, the gardens are beautiful, the village is charming if rather weathered and in sore need of updating with a good clean and paint, and there’s a cafe with drinks & ice cream, as well as a picnic area. Staff are lovely. Toilets are spotless.nnAfterward I went to the huge park which is right next door and it is GORGEOUS! A huge lake, bandstand, rose garden, outdoor cafes, and a wooded area for walks. I thoroughly recommend visiting that.
Brilliant well worth a visit , lovely staffnTake a picnic
Nice and lovely place you must check it out:
