I strongly do not recommend using this euro car park..used once paid £1.50 for 35 minutes. Received £100.00 parking notice for 5 minutes over my time with the car park attendant watching returning unable to run due to my age. I will never go to Blackheath Village again.
A farmers market is held here every Sunday with the exception of certain Bank holidays. Fruit, vegetables, meats, breads, pasta all from producers within a 100 mile radius of London. Great atmosphere and can be very busy.
Large car parking but not free even Sunday
I have used this car park before without issues. I had a courtesy car and parked up but completely forgot to buy a ticket. I realised when I’d visited a shop so promptly went back to the car park and purchased the one hour ticket using the app. There was 13 minutes between me parking and buying the ticket. I left the car park with 31 minutes remaining so if you minus the 13 mins that means I paid for 28 mins of parking that I didn’t use. But oh no I’ve been issued with a parking ticket and a £35 admin fee from the hire car company. You can’t call and explain. I’ve used this car park frequently but I won’t be anymore. Nonsense tolerance is a horrible business practice and the government/councils should do more to challenge these companies.
