Delicious food, beautiful location, friendly staff and excellent service. There classic dishes taste great. They have a good selection of gins and a good number of options for vegetarian and vegan diners.
Qualiray accommodation in a beautiful setting. Just up road from Beamish Open Air Museum. Perfect place to visit in these restricted times
They put on a really good car show here within the grounds including the Aston garage and the Morgan garage
Beautiful venue, beautiful food, friendly service. I've been for afternoon tea, lunch, and a social drink with friends. I have always received great quality food and excellent service. Can't recommend it enough.
Absolutely beautiful gentleman's afternoon tea. I much prefer savory food, than lots of cakes so this was ideal for me. Great service, beautiful location and very friendly staff. They do offer a normal menu too which I would love to go back and try.
We visited as a last treat before lovkdiwn. Very friendly service. Great menu. Opted for the Steak pie which was excellent. Only down side we wore our coats all through the meal as it was so cold. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
Very large, friendly, pub, that do large functions weddings, parties, etc. in a separate purpose built annex outback. Stunning scenery to look at while you eat/drink. A little disappointed that the annex didn't provide the same ale's that the main bar offered. Food was excellent, staff where great. Worth a visit for Sunday lunch.
