The most miserable staff I’ve ever come across! I believe they are a couple. They never smile, are INSANELY slow! They never answer the phone! They are not polite. I hate going in there because of them. I’m surprised with all the bad reviews that they are still in business.

The worst post office I've used in the UK in my life. Run by mum and dad and their son. It's hard to imagine a more consistently miserable person than the dad. It will only improve when the parents retire. I lived in Birstall for two decades, so my opinion is based on years of experiences. One of the great things about moving away was no longer having to be subjected to the ignorant and unhelpful service of this establishment when needing to use the local post office. In any other service industry these guys would be out of business. My review can't really help you too much as when you need a post office you need one, but after yet another encounter when visiting family I simply felt compelled to add to the already long list of criticism...

Been using this post office for years. Dread going In when I need to. The staff are miserable and not at all welcoming or friendly. The younger one is more welcoming and polite but it’s the other two old ones that normally serve behind the counter that are rude. No manners whatsoever.

I came out of here wondering what has happened to customer service in this country. Absolutely shocked by the rude attitude of one of the counter staff. A please and thank you wouldn't go amiss. Although it's convenient for work, I will not be using this post office again.

Given that office my business for the last time, rude, bad communication, throw your stuff round including money, never any pleasantries every single visit. I'd rather drive to a different one given the state of the road for parking to then be treated badly. Wonder why post office is struggling for business?
