A proper British pub. Lots of different types of people and the staff are incredible, friendly, approachable and respectful. I went it on Thursday for the first time since moving into a house across the road and I'm gutted I've not been in sooner!  You often get people starring at you in a pub when you're new not here!! I'm now part of the pool team, played darts and feel like I've known everyone in there for years. Definitely get yourself down to The bird if you want a good laugh with good beer and good people
