Absolutely lovely setting and lovely people. We were given a folder full of information for use during our stay telling us of things to do in the area which was so useful. All the pitches are on lovely hardstanding grass - almost a lawn(certainly better than my lawn at home). The mere is very pretty in nearby Ellesmere and the boathouse is great for food.

Really beautiful site in an easy to reach location. Followed owners accurate directions and was greeted with enthusiasm and excellent advice regarding local facilities. The small town of Ellesmere is close by and is well worth spending time around and about. Highly recommended and when we are needing a stay in this area again, it would be our first call!

Beautiful site, clean, well laid out and well kept. Friendly and knowledgeable owners who offer help and advice (when asked for) to make one's stay pleasurable. Very handy for places of interest in North Shropshire and North Wales. We have been many time, it is always our first and last venue of every year. We recommend Birch Hill unreservedly.

This is an excellent site, beautiful views well managed, nice and quiet, we stayed at the site near the house and had good wifi connection.Ian greeted us with a very useful information pack .our motorhome was parked at Tesco right by the canal where we had lovely walks. Walking round the meres are beautiful, This area is gorgeous and with the town 1 mile down the road from this site it is ideal. We will come back in autumn as we can imagine the colours will be gorgeous
