Without a doubt the best meals I have had. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, topped off nicely with reggae music to further add to the experience. The food takes a while to arrive, but if I wanted fast food I'd have gone to a take-away. It is certainly worth the wait for the delicious home cooked flavour; having been multiple times and ordered various things from the menu, I can say that everything I have tried has been outstanding. I truly could not rate the service, food and overall experiences any higher.
The restaurant is clean and well laid out. Not very big so best to book in advance. Food is nice with a wide selection of mains. Starters are lovely especially the fritters; however, only a few starters to choose from. Drinks menu is very wide and varied. Desserts are very carribean and exotic which is good. Service was excellent. It's an average price for the food some dishes are more than others. Overall I would definitely go again. Very pleasing experience.
What a great hidden gem of a restaurant. I can positively say the food here is excellent and very authentic. My husband and I struggle to find anywhere where we can truly enjoy a good meal due to lack of flavour, something that is definitely not missing from this restaurant and cooked by big nanny herself making you feel like you have just enjoyed a proper home cooked meal. The waiters are really attentive and make you feel welcome from start to fininsh. Make sure you try the vanilla flavoured rum, its fantastic. My first time at a carribean... I have to say it was bloody good. I had curried goat and my friend had jerk chicken, we both tried each others and can not fault it it was gorgeous! Service was brill and staff were really friendly!
One of our favourite restaurants. Food is amazing - you will not find better quality anywhere else. You will also be very full.
Great meal, with great service and a very reasonable price, would defiantly return again
