Just went in to get a fishcake & chips to be told that fishcake would take 20 minutes to cook told them not to bother as I can cook one in the oven in less time I have never had to wait that long for a fishcake before maybe if I was not the only one in there & there was people waiting I could of accepted a wait but as it was I was the only one there this will make me think twice about going in again I will just spend the time & money doing it myself teach me to think that a fish and chip shop was fast food.

Excellent food. The fish (cod, and haddock) are perfectly cooked, and come with a slice of lemon. The chips are great, though the portion size seems to vary given who you are serve by. The home-made pies are a bit pricey, but delicious, so well worth taking a chance on - just be sure to ask what's inside them. The lunchtime deal is probably the best value (pie, chips and a drink) if you're short on cash.
