Chaotic hand over. Although we were booked in to collect our second hand van no one was aware when we turned up. The awning which we bought separate from them didn't have the poles with it. After phoning the reception I spoke to one of the managers who said he'd only meet us at a supermarket where he was going and not bring it to us which was another 6 miles further on. Short tempered and abrupt he threw the poles into the back of the car with hardly a word! Not a company I'd go to again....Their staff need training in manners and sales... Go somewhere else for your expensive buy!

Bought our Lunar at the NEC 3 years ago through Bicester Caravans. We had alot of problems with the van which Bicester Caravans cannot be blamed for. However our experience at Bicester over that 3 years has not been very good. The servicing has been shoddy and not up to the standard one would expect. We have found they are not very customer friendly and their premises are unwelcoming and very difficult to access. The last straw was charging £11.39 to change a faded sticker (which was not requested and the van was supplied with said sticker already faded when new) Needless to say we will not be using them again! DO NOT BYE FROM THIS DEALER.

Bicester Caravan and Leisure is hard to get to and very cramped for when you are towing a caravan. There is a scrap yard next door, owned by the same people, and which shares the same access. The only place to stop your caravan blocks their entrance, which is stressful when you have a caravan on the back and nowhere to go whilst you wait for anyone to help take it off your hands. I’ve had a generally awful experience with them over several years, so I'm annoyed with myself as only just realised I could have kept my warranty valid and had it serviced by one of over 430 fixed and mobile NCC Approved Workshops across the UK rather than the dealer I bought it from. I've gone mobile for the servicing and saved a lot of money and stress whilst benefitting from excellent customer service. Google "NCC Approved Workshops" if you're interested. The prices are much lower for a service. The staff are rude across the board: Karen; Chris S; the lady on reception in the shop. The servicing has been patchy, not doing what they said they would do. On one occasion they gave me a clear damp report, which I queried and took it to an independent damp specialist. They found loads of damp. Required a new front, under warranty thankfully. Another example, made an appointment for a service with them in advance via email, got up early on the appointed day, travelled for a couple of hours picking up the caravan on the way, got there to be told as first words (Karen), "What are you doing here. There's no one here to help. You'll have to wait," (Not even a Hello!) and then go on to deny all knowledge of the appointment even though the email trail is clear. Left to move the caravan on my own whilst keeping the driveway clear. I honestly think they find customers annoying, getting in the way while they continue private conversations and leaving customers standing. They will drive you mad. The workshop manager, Chris Sutcliffe, as at least three others have said below, is not fit for purpose (assuming customer service or integrity are part of his job spec.). In a nutshell, avoid but, if you have already bought from them, check out your warranty and maybe look for an NCC Approved (mobile or fixed) Workshop instead. A lot cheaper, less stress and a lot more friendly to deal with. Good luck and happy caravanning.
