I am a new patient just one week ago . I think the patient transfer was quick , I managed to speak to a dr and arrange for my prescription to be put in place ,I was issued my monthly medication and made some changes to them ,I even got my bloods taking sooner than expected. Staff have been polite and taking time to listen to my needs . I am Very pleased With this service today considering how much pressure they under trying to provide to us all at once with lack of support from the government.
I have not had any problems with Bewick Crescent Surgery in the 2 years since I moved to Newton Aycliffe . From the receptionists, office team to Nurses and Doctors. They are all exceptional. The new phone system works well re call back. The team do their very best to help and any tests required are dealt with and reported quickly as are prescription requestsnI can only thank the whole team for everything.
Doctors are good and nurses are lovely, on the rare occasion you manage to get past the rude male receptionist. changing doctors due to his attitude and the fact he doesn’t do his job in a kind manner, refuses to give or arrange appointments for urgent matters and went as far to say “what do you want me to do about it” . Refused to let us speak to anyone else. Please check his call recordings you’ll see his arrogant behaviour. Spoke to multiple people who have experienced the same issue. He’s supposed to be one of the faces of your practice / a representative. But I can’t see how anyone unwell or with serious illness could possibly feel at ease speaking to him
Excellent treatment thank you docs.& nurses esp. Tracy.
Very poor service in terms of booking appointments either by phone or on the app, very rarely able to make an appointment and then they call back can be anytime. Recently completed the form to see a nurse waited most of the day only to be told I would be better going to urgent care centre.
