Absolutely lovely place. We have been treated so kind today : extra crispy chips - our favourite. Lovely custard slice for dessert too! We will definitely come back even it’s not our closest fish & chips bar :

I absolutely love the food and the service, the food is always hot and fresh , I have been in the shop aswell as ordering online with uber eats and never had any problems, i can honestly say its the best we never go anywhere else now thank you so much always service with a smile
The food from Bernies is always fresh & piping hot. Never had a bad meal from here, a quaint little English chippy with very friendly staff. There’s not many of them about now, make the most of this one. You won’t be disappointed.
Never had a bad meal from Bernie's either via ubereats or my partner picking up. Always fresh, hot and the best fish around here. Been visiting the shop for years on off and always enjoyed. Thank you
Never had Fish & Chips as good as I have from here before. The cod is huge with a very light crisp batter. A very nice shop with excellent Covid procedures in place.
