I had a great experience with Berkeley, especially the agent with which I was assigned called Scarlett. She has been really helpful in finding me matches that I have had good chemistry and lots in common with. You can tell she really puts in the effort to make a great experience for her clients
I joined Berkley International after a divorce. I am professional and highly academic person who wished to join a dating agency that delivered a bespoke service with introductions to like minded individuals. I had been in a marraige for 20 years and obviously had not dated for that period . I paid £12000 for my annual subscription. I can only describe it as daylight robbery and fraud, and this company needs to be reported for their conduct and misleading approach. Quite simply .... they take advantage of vulnerable women. None of the men I met had paid fees, all were quite frankly plucked off other dating apps and some didnt even possess a house or car!!! When I questioned the agents they belittled you, criticised and questioned your ability to interact as a functioning being. If you wish to maintain your dignity, sanity and well being and avoid paying someone vast amounts of money to swipe for you.... STAY AWAY FROM THESE STUCK UP SHARKS!!!!
I am a little late reviewing Berkley internartional, mostly because in 2014 it wasn’t popular to review companies. I met Keri from Berkley international, who sold me a very expensive service for discrete matchmaking. I was promised an international/professional/discrete match making service. It turned out to be hoax altogether. What I learnt from my first date, it’s mostly the women who are paid members, men are approached at random parties with profiles of successful/independent women, and coaxed into going for a date with them! So much for discrete or having a database. This given this information from the first date Keri set up for me. Second date, I was set up with was a younger man no issues but he was more interested in finding out what I earned and how much my apartment was worth. When I called Keri concerned with this information and asking if any of them men actually paid for the service? Her response was neither friendly, nor respectful or honest. I was quite taken aback - and asked for a refund. As you can imagine with any agency which is based on cheating people - there was none and I was sent an email saying they are taking me off their data base. So all in I paid a crazy amount of money to meet two guys, neither of whom had paid to be on the service and then never heard back as I requested information on how many paid male members were on their database. Pretty sure the team at Berkley international will come back with one of two response- “fake review” or we don’t have a member by this name. I have read all the reviews on here and this is a standardised response on their behalf if you need proof, I still have the emails intact. Ladies please do yourself a favour and run miles away from this deceitful organisation.
This agency is a con! After 14 months they have made 4 introductions of below average level far worse than you can meet yourself on any decent app. I cannot believe how they justify their fees. They wont refund you if you want to leave early and instead keep feeding you bull! Its amazing that they there no regulation to this kind of service that pries mostly on single women with money. Save yourself the money and spend it learning something new and possibly meeting sb that way. This will upset you and make you feel like a fool! They take money upfront for doing something that might have worked 40 years ago. There are no good looking eligible men. But lots of dodgy weird ones with suspicious backgrounds who most often cannot even complete a date and were always not even half good looking or educated nor successful!
I felt I must write a review after my wonderful experience with Berkeley. I have now met the man of my dreams thanks to the whole team at Berkeley, who have all helped me through what could easily have been a trying process. After the break-up of my previous relationship, I was feeling rather insecure and down but the Berkeley girls were so positive and gave me such great advice that the whole experience turned out to be really enjoyable. Not everyone I met was perfect, but they refined their search and introduced me to Charlie, who I really hope will be my life partner. Thanks so much Kerry, Debs and Sophie.
I have previously left a review which has been mysteriously removed. Firstly I would like to point out that I am a real person, with a very real experience of Berkeley international and all I can do is sing their praises as an agency. I have read some awful reviews here and I feel it totally misrepresents what this agency is about and if people who are thinking of signing up are reading these then I feel it necessary to write about my own experience. I met with the girls a few years ago now and had a very pleasant, uplifting meeting. They were kind and informative, I walked out the office with a smile. I of course did as much research as I possibly could before joining and a few weeks later I signed up. They put no pressure on me at all and were very considerate throughout the whole process. I must say the girls are wonderful and I really got on so well with all of them. I was mostly in contact with the two Sophie’s and Debbie. I went on some lovely dates with lovely guys and had some wonderful experiences. Yes, I did go on quite a few to find my perfect fit but that’s the natural process of dating. The whole experience was such an enjoyable one and from a female perspective a safe way of dating, not meeting strangers off the internet with no idea of who they really are, nor wanting my name to be all over the internet dating sites due to my career and status, but with Berkeley that couldn’t be a more different experience. I really did warm to their no photo rule too, I do truly believe photos can’t capture someones internal beauty and meeting with those people can be a completely different experience then what you see from a photograph. The process has been very successful for me and I have found my true happiness with someone and I would recommend this service to anyone, I have sent some of my friends along already! I can only think the reason people are writing such hurtful things about Berkeley is because of the nature of what they do.. We are all trying to find our soul mates, that big true love and when you mix emotion, money and expectations that can be a very unique combination and can evoke all sorts of emotions. Berkeley don’t have divine powers, you can’t give them a long list of exactly what you want in a partner points one to a hundred, hand over some money and Berkeley miraculously make this person a reality within the first month. If it was that easy I am sure the world would be a very different place. But I can understand the feelings and anticipation we all feel, I went through exactly the same emotions. The best thing I did was relax and enjoy the experience, its another life experience after all and as soon as I did that, I had some fabulous dates, met some lovely men and as I said previously found my true happiness. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you girls at Berkeley you are all wonderful and will definitely all be coming to the wedding xxx
I don't usually leave reviews but felt the need to for Berkeley since they have some undeserved negative reviews here at least based on my experience. Berkeley has been one of the best dating agencies I’ve ever signed up to, they sent me on regular dates and after using their service for about 14 months I have found my soul mate and I owe this to them. Berkeley isn’t a cheap service, but in my opinion they are well worth the money – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for love.
I was recommended to join Berkeley International by a friend of mine who is now engaged to be married to a charming gentleman she met through the agency. I was very nervous after my divorce about dating again and was worried about some of the negative reviews here on Google. However, when I met up with Mairead, she explained the context of these reviews and how Berkeley actually operates. She was very convincing and I joined up. I am so pleased that I did as I am now in a very happy relationship with a lovely man. Mairead did not promise that I would meet the man of my dreams, but said that I would be introduced to men who matched the general criteria that I had discussed with her. And that is just what happened. Her team is amazing and they were so kind, patient and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Thank you all so much.

You have introduced to to someone who I am now in a relationship with and I hope he is "the one"! The people I have met have all been really interesting even if there was no "spark" romantically and the service that I have received has been exemplary. Thank you all again so much.
I paid gbp10K to join Berkeley International. I joined because they market themselves as an international agency with a network of highly successful people. My actual experience is that they would say anything to take my money. They made a few random introductions, of the type of people that you could meet at the local pub or through a dating website. Their contact list is not as good as they present and the background checks are cursory at best. They repeatedly ignored my preferences and introduced me to unsuitable people, then indirectly blaming me when the introductions did not work out. Now they have me on hold in-definitively because they will not return my money, even I've been a member for only a few months. They are a great marketing and money making machine for themselves. I was a fool and want to warn others about them. Bottom line: Save your hard earned money, go out and expand your network and you will meet a great match naturally.
