I think it’s unfair for this restaurant to have those one star review. From my experience, food taste really nice. Fresh and hot! One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ate. I only believe what I ordered not those haters.

we ordered from here about a week ago, quite late as well .. first the lady who took our order on the phone was polite and lovely. the delivery driver was also lovely.  The food, was Hot not greasy and was amazing.  I’m very fussy with Chinese food and this has to be the nicest Chinese I have ever ordered.  I honestly cannot wait to order from here again, probably this week.  food didn’t take to long and delivered all the way to Salford.  10/10 from us, best Chinese.

I’m so happy it is still open now! Qualify food and nice service. I’ve ordered three times and never disappointed. I like the salt and pepper dishes most, the Dim Sim taste good as well. Btw, there is a 10% off if directly order from the shop! So don’t miss the discount if you order. definitely recommend.

I placed an order at around 12am on 17th of May, the delivery guy calls me and tells he is outside, even though I asked for a door delivery. I go downstairs, he is not there, I wait for 5 minutes and he calls again and says he's outside Mcdonalds and wants me to walk all the way there to pick up my order. I then have to walk away from my flat in the middle of the night to meet him to get my order. He gives my one bag which is not what I ordered. I show him my receipt and exactly what I ordered and he tells me, "thats what he was given and tries to give it to me. I tell him that's not what I've ordered and I'm not taking it. First I ordered 3 different things shouild be 3 containers and it's only one container in the bag. Secondly I'm vegetarian so I can't eat and what he's trying to give me is definitely a meat dish. clearly he made a mistake and delivered the wrong food. I tell him I'm not prepared to take it, but he tells me the takeaway is now closed and you can't call them. I walk back to my flat and he shouts at me to take the wrong order and leaves it on the floor in the middle of the street. First time ordering from here and it will be the last! Terrible service and horrible experience.

I would give zero stars if I could. The rice I got was dry and plain, completely lacked seasoning. Same thing for the noodles, they did not taste like anything and the chicken was wet, soggy and weird. Fifteen pounds wasted, will definitely not order again and I recommend no one does either.

I'm disappointed to be leaving this review but here goes...  I've been ordering from Bento king for some now - either from my just-eat account or my partners. Service has been swift and consistent. We were happy with what we got each time and the food arrived hot and on time.  Bento King aren't the cheapest, but I tended not to mind at least I knew it was good quality.  That was until last night.  After a long weekend we decided to treat ourselves to a takeway. We both ordered the same dish.  I'm sorry to say the the food tasted truly horrible. It was bland, tasteless, lacking in any redeemable qualities. It's main characteristic was that is was 'watery'.  We both threw our food away - a total waste of £20.  We contacted Just-Eat, who acted professionally to our messages. They contacted Bento on our behalf.  Bento came back and said that the food was cooked exactly the same, via the same chef to the same standards - which to me reads ' it's your fault you thought the food was terrible'.  It's not the error of the food that I take umbridge with - it's there unwillingness to deal with our compliant. If they had taken ownership of the issue it would of been fine. This is not how to deal with repeat customers.  I will not be ordering takeaway from a Bento King again. A truly depressing experience.

Possibly the worst takeaway experience of my life. The food took 2 hours to come, half the order was missing, and their was little attempt at an apology. They even lied and told us the driver had crashed on his way from the shop. Genuinely can't think of a business that's run worse...

Spent £80 and the service we received was frankly awful.. The food was so late, and we received little apology. When it eventually came, literally half of the order was missing and we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes to receive this food. All of this meant when it eventually arrived, the food wasn’t warm and was frankly poor quality. We’ve used this takeaway so much over the past couple of years and this would’ve been okay if the restaurant were helpful and apologetic but this is the end of us shopping at bento king, go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
