Fantastic old building with very friendly staff had a lovely coffee and cake and ended up buying a Barbour coat.

What can I say we visited the cafe today and what a horrible experience it was the food was diabolical .(cold and inedible )and the coffee had a hair in ) the waitress was very miserable and seemed that it was all too much trouble for her ..not a good experience. ...0 out of 10..

I used to really like this shop but unfortunately it's seems to have taken in some staff who are very rude. One time I asked if I could try a particular dress on, and I was told it was not in my size even though I hadn't told her my size,  very bitchy! The next time  I wanted to try some perfume and asked if I could borrow a pen to write the name of it down, the look I got you'd think I'd slapped the assistant in the face!  Very rude and a bit of an attitude problem. Such a shame.
