My experience was totally the opposite of the previous review. Very helpful staff, fantastic choice of books, very well organised.

Went in to find some cake specific books. Volunteer/staff member repeatedly stood in front of me whilst I was looking at the books and was emptying the shelves. When pointed this out to them (politely) they got upset and ran off. The other volunteer then came and then glared at my mother and I (he did not speak at all to ask if there was a problem or if we needed help). I got the impression that either I was deemed unsuitable to be a customer or that they have no idea how to run a shop and were only there to say they do charity work. Shame as I think I would have bought 4 or 5 hardbacks had the whole experience not been so fascicle. Never have I ever had to leave a shop because of the horrible glare the staff have prolonged at me because I wanted to view the goods the shop sells.
