The "original" and apparently still one of the best: This is not of these posh take-away that tend to pop up in central London. No fuss and no complication here. The place offers a nice and solid selection of hot sandwiches and hot meals. The dishes are very simple ... but taste very good and everything is obviously fresh. In addition, the portions are rather large and, by City standards, quite cheaply priced. Quite possibly the best value for money in the entire City.
First time at Benjys. Mashed potato and boiled potatoes were nice and tasty. I went for the chicken kebab which was cooked well and a big sized portion! The ladies behind the counter were welcoming and efficient. Much better value than neighbouring eateries. Only downside was the plastic bag and plastic container single-usage so straight to the landfill. I would return and recommend if not for this. Otherwise, great.
No fuss, good prices, good portions and tasty. Great for lunch!
Considering sandwiches are benjys ‘bread and butter’ I didn’t expect £4 stale bread 9am on a Monday morning, disappointing.
Great food… great price and great service. Had the BBQ chicken with rice and veg and it was very filling. Also had the breakfast wrap with a coffee and that was also very good.
I had the pleasure in visiting this lovely sandwich shop today and I was happy I went in. The food was mouth watering delicious, the staff were ever so lovely, polite and friendly. I cannot wait to visit this place again!! I would totally recommend the chicken escalope panini - to die for!!
Popped into Benjys this morning for the first time. Needed a bacon sandwich and was not disappointed!! The best I've had! Highly recommend, can't wait to try more on the menu.
Great place - the breakfast special wrap deal is a must try!
Breakfast is like homemade for great price. Will recommend.
Great breakfast sandwich and good value!
