The car park is tucked away down a little side road, with free parking in the winter October to April. Fistral beach is 5-10 minutes' walk down the path through the middle of the golf course the path is marked on Google maps. You will need to walk through the sand dunes down to the beach.nThe car park surface is rough with potholes, but a very handy little car park. Please take your litter home with you, as the bin is seldom emptied and the seagulls pull litter all over the place. Parking charges can be paid in all the usual ways, cash, card, phone, parking app and the signal is good so you won't get caught out.nnThere's no suitable wheelchair access to the beach this way, so you're best to park down by the Rick Stein Restaurant and bar if you're a wheelchair user and you want to access the beach.
This car park is in a great location, not far from Fistral Beach, which makes it really handy if you’re heading down that way.nnThere’s also a path from the car park to Fistral Beach that goes through the golf course, which is a nice and convenient way to get down to the beach.nnThere aren’t loads of spaces and it can get quite busy, especially during peak times, so you may have to wait for a space. The prices are good compared with some of the other car parks around the area, mainly because it’s a council-run car park rather than a private one.nnIf you have a disabled badge, you get an extra hour, but don’t forget to display it clearly. Another bonus is that there’s no charge after 16:00.nnOverall, a reasonably priced car park in a convenient location, especially if you’re visiting Fistral Beach.
This is a very good car park. It is just a few minutes away from the city centre. It takes about 15 min to walk to Towan Beach. There is also a great access from there to Fastral Beach and a wonderful walk around that side Little Fastral Beach and Towan Head also about 15 min walk away.
The car park is close to Newquay harbour, and a short walk to Fistral Beach, and to the town centre of Newquay. The parking was free for the time of year that I visited which was a bonus, but this for only certain times of the year. The beaches nearby are all really nice. And there is plenty to choose from, and walk along. The views are really good, from the various vantage points.
Fantastic carpark, always use close to fistral, & newquay town centre.nWould highly recommend
