The bar lady wasn't knowledgable about prices regarding lemonade dashes etc. The manager felt he had to come over and explain what we were charged although we hadn't complained. The food was good, prices reasonable. Food was presentable although not sure if my steak was served in the dogs bowl!" The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet, suitable for couples and families, a respectable venue. I had to walk to the other side of the venue to get the ketchup as there was none this side of the venue and the waitress did not offer us any sauces. So good and bad really. I would visit this venue again and maybe next time it would be 5/5.
From start to finish the service was excellent. A warm friendly greeting, followed by taking drink order. The food was nice, hot and fresh. Wrong peas sent sorted in 2 minutes. I would return in a heartbeat.
Nice staff and good atmosphere. Decent food. Sadly they were going through the process of changing the menu the night we were in so a couple of the things were fancied were off. I had a nice steak there
I booked a last minute party of 12 to celebrate a 70th birthday. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The food was lovely and all came together. The young girl looking after us was nice and attentive I was really impressed and am very grateful for a successful surprise party! Well done all. I forgot to bring cash to leave a tip but will be in after our holiday to put that right. Once again thank you !
We stopped by on the way past for a bite to eat, it was relatively busy but the staff were friendly. We ordered burgers and were served by Matt who told us about the burger and rink deal which was great value. The food came out pretty quickly and was great, we really enjoyed our burgers. We will definitely be back again soon.
Called in for lunch with a friend today. The staff were really friendly. Laurenne served us. She was so friendly, she knew her menu and gave great advice. She genuinely was interested, and did care if everything was satisfactory. Will definitely go again. Food was really tasty and filling.
Had a couple of drinks which were fine . We both ordered steak baguette on well done one medium both cooked perfectly but small portion of steak for size of baguette. Came half way up baguette including onions peppers n sauce . No napkins in area where cutlery was had to ask . Wouldn't use again .. no staff checked to see how food was after bring it we left straight after eating. Needs better lighting very dark inside maybe just area we was in by pool table
Absolutely fantastic service from all the staff at The Bell & Bottle. Very clean areas too. Recommended for family meals, which is what we were there for nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. Will be definitely going back there when we’re next in the area. Happy Xmas and New Year to all at Bell & Bottle.
Service from the staff was very pleasant and attentive. Food was served served quickly and arrived hot. And was tasty with 2 exceptions. Chicken burger was dry and steak was very fatty. Other than that a very pleasant experience
Visited for drinks and was pleasantly surprised by the improvement since my last visit. Kayla in particular was exceptional, happy to help, efficient and smiling. She is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you Kayla for making my visit so pleasurable.
