If your new to the area like myself don't bother. We moved from Dublin 2 to within 200m of the clinic. I have epilepsy and simply required a new prescription on the long term illness scheme. I was looking to establish a ongoing relationship with a GP in what I believed to be a family clinic. Receptionist was particularly rude on both occasions I rang, not interested in growing the patient base. Kept telling me it would be a week before I would see a doctor, which wasn't an issue. Upon going in to simply register at the clinic I waited 15 minutes to again be asked why I hadn't tried other clinics in the area and that they have a large patient base already. Finally at this point I gave up trying to register, took the message and simply left.
