Placed an order for collection on a saturday night and was available to collect within 30 minutes. Received some free prawn crackers with the amount spent. Chicken Chow Mein wasn’t greasy and had good flavour. New items I hadn’t tried was deep fried king prawns which had great crisp to it, Cheese and Prawn rolls was interesting but the flavours worked really well together. Honey and Chilli chicken was really nice and wasn’t over battered, same with the Salt and Pepper Chicken, Chicken Skewers had a nice Satay flavour to them. The chips and prawn toast was okay but would probably take the Deep fried prawns over the Prawn toast. Parking: free parking bays available.
Came here a few years ago and have been repeat customers ever since. The food is always delivered hot and fresh, the best Chinese takeaway in Basingstoke and affordable too! We always order from here and love the foodFood: 5/5
The food quantity is good, got the food warm until arrive home. Little confused about menu online as I couldn’t find one of the food I would like to order so I had to ring and make the order by phone. Crispy chilli beef I couldn’t taste the beef only the crispy batter. Other foods no complaint nice and tasty.Food: 3/5
Sadly the food did not live up to expectations. There was little engagement from the person behind the counter with just one word barks at us. We felt an inconvenience to what appeared to be an empty shop.Food: 3/5
Great range of food on the menu. Decent portion sizes. Was let down by dry overcooked chips but if you don't buy these it is 5*
Very rude counter staff today asked for half chicken balls and half prawn balls got told very rudely they don’t do that even tho I had it 4 days ago. Asked for special chow mien got something else more like a soap. Rang to ask and he was very rude. Shame as iv been coming here for years. I’ll be going else where from now onFood: 5/5
Ordered from here as a delivery order tonight to work, at the recommendation of a colleague of mine. Food was delivered fast, arrived over a good 30 mins before the predicted time on the website. Was still piping hot, the delivery guy was great and friendly. The food was spot on, will definitely order again. Thank you
It's changed quite a bit since Steve retired, and today was the first time I've been back for a long time. I ordered online and went to collect. The food was ready quickly, hot, and there was a good selection. As far as westernised Chinese food goes, this was tasty, and met my high expectations. I rarely eat takeaway food, but I will certainly return the next time I don't want to cook!
Lovely food, sometimes the wait for delivery is a little on the long side, but always hot and a great meal. Only thing i would change is the noodles dont seem to have much if any sauce? But great with their curry sauce
The food is very good always order from here. Even our friends and family order from here now. After trying it. Never had a bad meal yet. Always look forward to a Chinese from here.
