Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.

Another really good beefeater! I had a lovely steak here that was cooked to perfection along with a well mixed garlic butter!! Staff were so friendly, can’t quite remember his name but he was such a nice guy! Food wasn’t too quick that it was a rush to leave and wasn’t too slow that you got bored! Absolutely great experience to be honest:) would definitely recommend to anyone and will 100% be returning!!

Came for a family meal; the restaurant is very popular on Saturday afternoon. The waiter was very polite and helpful if busy. The main courses all went down very well (mixed grill, bangers & mash, lobster burger, cauliflower tart and a child's meatballs) although the fries portions are less generous than other restaurants. For dessert we had a Mississippi mud pie and salted caramel sundae. The former was nice but latter could've benefitted with more than just vanilla flavour ice cream. Like most chain restaurants the food is typical and expected - like a Premier Inn. Overall an enjoyable meal and we'd be happy to go back as a family.

A really modern building which means there is lots of room and everything is new and up together. The lunch time menu was great value and the service was fabulous.

Stay clear on a Saturday lunch time. Took a while for someone to come and seat us. Served pretty quickly by waitress but then waited for over an hour for the food. 2 plates of chips were cold as was my steak they were dealt with quickly by the waitress but what with the wait for food in the first place, just made the occasion a bit soured. Shame as I have posted before on how excellent everything was. Waitress was a lot more friendly than the management. They need to turn their frowns upside down

My server was very polite but rest of time was a disgrace. Husband's food was on top for 5 mins and didn't get side salad as it don't come with meal even though menu says it does.. I have family who work at head office and they said it reflects on everyone as a whole.
