Beefeater Farmhouse

Food was quite average and many of meals where quite small. It's clear that the chef's haven't taken notice of the informational posters littered around the dining area regarding how cooked a steak is, as a rare steak came medium well. For some place which markets itself as a steak house, you would be better off getting something cheaper on the non-steak menu. For this, you will get more quality and more quantity for less price.

Normally go to Sandbach for breakfast but someone mentioned this place and we thought we would give it a try. So glad we did, been here for lunches and dinners before but not breakfast.Definitely our no1 place from now on. One price (VERY reasonable!) includes all you can eat. Great selection of fruit, fruit juices, pastries, cereals, yoghurts and breads. Pick-what-you-want hot food and top ups both on the food and beverages. Can't think of anything to improve. The staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Sandra, who couldn't do enough for us. Five stars for her! A credit to the company.

It's a nice looking venue in a good location to meet for business or socially, although this used to be a firm favourite for value and variety I feel the standard of food and service is not as good as it was maybe 18 months ago! However on the positive side colleagues who have used the hotel facility where more than happy with the overall service.

We have been here several times in the past with varying results, the time immediately prior to this one the food was excellent, however this time the service was appalling and the food was sub standard.we waited over an hour for our food and when it eventually arrived it was lack luster at best. The staff were very apologetic and we did receive a substantial discount on the food. However we will not be returning to this restaurant any time soon.

Great food, staff could be more attentive, didn't have time to ask if food was okay, or ask if you need anything else, had to go to the bar for a drink.
