Booked a large tail lift lutton. Got there on Friday and they had none. They only do small old Van's. Mileage is 300 miles per day. Would not recommend .

So I book a tipper truck a week ago for two days, arrived at 8:30 this morning to collect it and it wasn’t there, the previous user hadn’t brought it back. I was told ‘nothing I can do about it because the bloke won’t answer his phone’. Never go there again, 2 days of arranged collections cancelled and expenses incurred. I wish I had read the reviews before I made the booking.
Booked a medium van for 1 day was easy process, dropped back the next day no problems.

Ok, not the cleanest and newest vans but happy with the 2 different luton vans we hired. Pleasant staff and quick 10 minute checks on my licence and ID then I was on the road.
My husband hired a van. I went with him to collect it and the owner admitted that his wife uses the van regularly! He did point out a few minor issues with it. Before returning the van, my husband put fuel to the point he was supposed to when he brought it back. It was checked by a member of staff who said she couldn't see any damage. Later on the owner phoned and said there was damage. Husband went to see him, a day or so later - due to work commitments he couldn't go the same day, and was shown photos, which had no date stamp and could have been any of the vans - conveniently the van my husband hired wasn't available! The owner did a u-turn and said he didn't think it was that bad and he might be able to fix it himself, so we had the deposit refunded minus £5. Over a MONTH later he received a phone call saying the van had to be repaired and he would like £100. My husband has seen no quotes from a garage for the damage. The BVRLA [British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association] of which, unfortunately this Beee Hire place isn't a member - I wonder why...? guidelines for Code of Conduct of members says "If the customer is not present at the post-rental inspection, the member should notify the customer of the existence of any charges within 10 days." There is something underhand about all this: First there was nothing wrong initial inspection Then there was something wrong following day without my husband being present Husband sees the guy a couple of days later, shown photos of damage on A van - owner of company did a U-turn and said he could fix it. Month later guy phones asking for £100 for repairs - husband hasn't seen any quotes from garages. Definitely wouldn't recommend this company again.
Good prices, reliable vehicle and the owners were great!!
