My dog had a painful protrusion out of his anus that had burst hence my visit. My dog was not fully examined. The ‘professional’ looked at his eyes, teeth, felt belly and lifted tail to ‘have a look’. I was then told by the ‘professional’ that he couldn’t see any protrusion only the remains of diarrhoea around his backside, and he diagnosed that his condition was a very common problem and prescribed probiotics. I was quite taken aback by this diagnosis as I knew this was not the case - I had to re-explain his condition and what had happened the evening before. Tell the ‘professional’ that the liquid around his backside was pus and blood from whatever had burst, not diarrhoea and that I believed he needed antibiotics. After the vet disputed this, he used a piece of tissue not a sterile wipe to wipe my dog’s backside and agreed there was blood to which he would prescribe antibiotics. To cut a very long story short - I was never actually told what is wrong with my dog, he was not prescribed pain relief which I believe he needs. Was not told how to look after the wound as the vet didn’t see a wound through lack of examination my dog has a big tear in his ‘anal sac’? So to conclude I have paid out a lot of money and walked away with a pet who is still in discomfort, weeping pus from a hole in his backside and giving me unnecessary worry through having no real clarity on his condition. I feel completely let down.
Great experience of cat 1st vaccination with Dr Tiffany Stein. Really welcome, just waited few minutes until Dr come and invited for vaccination- Dr had a great trick to keep kittens busy while vaccinated. Visit veterinary and you will find out what was the trick;
Have had pets registered with Beech house for around 20 years since I've owned pets, currently have my two cats registered here and hoenstly could not fault them, vets are friendly and professional and know their staff, reception team are always lovely and super helpful. Every time I have come in with my youngest cat whos an extremely affectionate fluffy boy, they all absolute dote on him. Also one of the more affordable vets in the area. Mew and Morpheus have no fear of the vets either and I definitely think thsi is helped by how awesome the staff are! Thank you for being awesome lots of love Mew and Morpheus
This used to be a good vets but unfortunately seems to be highly focused on making money instead of caring for your pets. My dog caught a virus from attending the vet for a routine appointment and this was life threatening for him. Disappointingly they knew there was an outbreak of the virus at the time but failed to notify anyone! We wouldn’t have taken him there if we knew there was a risk. The vets also seem to be leaving the practice at short notice which is also a concern
Took our dog in for a simple spaying after waiting months to receive her from romania, came out without a dog. Young vet seemed extremely inexperienced and all we received was a voucher for wine where you had to spend £20 for it to be valid please be careful when visiting this vets as you may return without your pet!
I've always been able to get an appointment quickly and easily. The vets we have seen have been patient, reassuring, and kind. The office/admin team are fantastic.
The vets is easy to find the building smells and looks clean. I wasn't waiting too long and the vet explained what he was doing and looking for and was very informative and did make some suggestions on medication for my pet.

We have used this surgery for over 23 years and have always found them friendly helpful, as well as professional. They explain everything clearly. Our first dog was put to sleep here at the age of 17 they put us at ease and Sam went peaceful and we weren't rushed to say our goodbyes. The receptionist are aways cheerful. The two dogs we have now have never been frighten to go into the vets, they are calm and happy, even our youngest who went through an operation. They alway make a fuss of our dogs. Would never think of going anywhere else.
They are a great team Careing with the animals And us humans Kitty had dental work which was amazing to get sorted And cared for my little sparts cat when it was his final days Always been with them 30 years plus
