The waiting room is rather run down and looks as if the decor was designed in the eighties. The electronics have been out of order for at least 6 months. On my last visit I reported 3 things that I wanted advice on. I was informed that the 10 min allocated to me ended before the doctor had time to advise and I was asked to make another appointment. This system is most unfriendly and time wasting for doctor and patient. I think more money should be found to upgrade the practice and bring in full time doctors and staff. I hope my comments have been fair and will help in bringing the practice into the 21st century.

Has been my GPs since I was little, never used to have a problem until I developed mental health issues and had to be seen more often. The doctors have no idea what to do with mental health except shove you on tablets that don’t work, and don’t even try to help. The nurse practitioner was rude and made me even more anxious than I was already. The older receptionists are rude and talk down to you (dealt with a younger one once who was nice) but I used to leave crying because of how they spoke to me :( I hated ringing for an appointment because of the rude way they talked, I now have a phobia of doctors receptionists and waiting rooms because of them. I’ve changed GPs now and everyone is lovely, but I’m still terrified of going incase anyone is like the staff at beech house :( I did see a younger female doctor once for a meds review and she was lovely and kind. And the actual nurses are kind, I’ve only ever seen young ones though. Seems the older generation of staff need to learn how to be polite and kind like the younger ones!

Was my surgery from moving to the Grove in 1986. Was a good friendly Practice with nice reception and people friendly staff. Now it's a rundown, sad reception with overworked staff. So I've left. I realise doctors come and go but when Dr Levy left, they should have planned for it. Not been same since. He oversaw the birth and aftercare of my children, took a keen interest in the person. Other doctors I've seen over the years, Allan and Hull, are also good but getting an appointment is the usual problem and sitting in a cold scruffy reception. ... No restrooms but there is a toilet.

The reception staff are rude and I am always made to feel stupid and as if I am lying about my issues and reasons why I need to see the doctor, not to mention the treatment I had from the female doctor I saw, Dr salim I think she was horrible and made me feel like she didn't believe that I had anything wrong with me, I've an issue with food and at the moment I am really struggling to put on the weight I need to get healthy again. Her answer was that I should just eat little and often basically to pull myself together when I left I felt so angry and ridiculous that I have put off going to see the doctor since and have ended up with pneumonia as a result

I have been at this surgery since I was around six years old, Dr Allan was my family doctor and since he is no longer there it has declined in terms of quality of care, the receptionist staff and ones that answer the phone for appointments are rude and make you feel very uncomfortable, their attitude is disrespectful and unacceptable for people who are trying to book appointments due to ill health and should be retrained in how to speak to another human being. I will be leaving this surgery as soon as possible and advise others to do the same.
