I have found the staff here very helpful and the building is nice and modern, I have been visiting every week for a couple of months. The Beacon bite cafe is also brilliant, the sandwiches and coffees are delicious and the staff are lovely, they make my appointment something to look forward to each week 😊

Attended the Beacon yesterday (Sunday) my wife who had recent surgery elsewhere to her foot, but she was in severe pain as the bandage appeared to be too tight. We had a little while to wait about 1 1/2 hours but the treatment she received was exceptional. We saw a lovely nurse called Debbie who cleaned and redressed the wound. She so kind an patient and we are so grateful that the Beacon is available to us. Cannot fault the service, receptionists very pleasant and most helpful. Thank you to all those who help us.

Second time I've been here and satisfied with my treatment. The wait time was well explained and the doctors thorough and helpful. Highly recommended.

lovely receptionists and great doctors, cant fault the excellent Beacon, only one small gripe, as with everywhere it is often hard to get an appointment, not their fault just way too many people to deal with. P.S today 20 feb 2018 I booked an appointment...1 month wait to see a doctor!!! not their fault but this is insane!! what is this government doing to our NHS???!!!

I've been here a few times and generally it's okay but sometimes the people answering the phone seem a bit unenthusiastic, even when it's a simple task of taking down a hospital number. I was sent an appointment in OCT 17 and received 6/7 letters afterwards, each one cancelling the previous and making a new appointment time, I found this quite disruptive. In the end I missed my appointment, my fault but I did call an hour later and told them I didn't realise it was today, they had already discharged me from their service. I waited 5 months for the appointment, after they constantly made cancellations, made a mistake and now I'll have to be referred again though my GP which could be another few months. In the dermatology department there was a nurse who went and grabbed me a ticket for my blood test whilst I was in the consultation room, meaning I had less of a wait, she was a very nice and happy lady, thank you.
