I've been a member here since the age of eight years old. I learnt to sail with many of the regular members through the weekly sailing school over the summer as well as participating in the downriver race between Beccles and Burgh St Peter which got me hooked with sailing and racing. The training and racing structure is fantastic with opportunities for people new or experienced with racing - there is something going almost all year round as well as some special events such as the annual three-day regatta in August as well as other events such as Boxing Day races and open days. BASC allowed me to become the sailor I am today and I will always remember what this great club has let me achieve, I always look forward to going back and sailing at the "friendliest club on the Broad".
