My son 15 and my dad 73 were going here for food together as a treat every Sunday for carvery. Last Sunday the boss told my son to leave because he had on a tracksuit. My son explained he is there in tracksuit every Sunday with his grandad .Finally told he could eat then leave. I'm not sure what clothes teenagers are expected to wear out for lunch these days but it was out of order and embarrassing for my son and they will be going somewhere else every Sunday now. Zero stars
Food was terrible. Were there about 2.30. Fish was so dried up would have needed a saw to cut through the skin. Veg not very hot. My worst experience of food here. It usually is good. Food & drinks: As above

I said to myself before ordering sure you can never go wrong with a filet steak, how wrong was I see it was 37euro I thought it would be nice it was by far the worse bit of meat I have ever had, it tasted like I was cooked 4 weeks ago well done and heated up in a microwave before serving it to me I asked for med rare no one came and asked us how the food was so I didn't complain, the 2 people I was with tasted it and agreed I had to look at it and see was it even a steak twice, they got a lasagne and scampi and those dishes were terrible also, if I could give any advice it would be not to eat in here!
Not up to its usual standard, dinner was cold,had to have it heated in microwave. Mashed spuds were dry, cabbage didn't seem like it was cooked. As I said not up to its usual standard.
Had a lovely dinner there Tuesday. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was fabulous. Will go here again.Service: 5/5
Beautiful, spotless and massive two stories of seating and an outdoor garden. Food was excellent staff great making sure that everything was OK nothing was to much trouble for them lovely friendly and cosy placeService: 5/5
Went in here for breakfast with my wife. Staff quite friendly, however the porridge ordered was way too heavy/thick. This was followed by cheap overdone sausages and really poor scrambled eggs, although we did originally order fried eggs. Overall a really poor breakfast. Will not return.Service: 3/5
