An absolutely fabulous place to visit. Most definitely good value for money and great fun to be had by all. Climbing up the castle and walking across the walls is such fun and has the best views for miles. Lots of information readily available and multiple points and plenty of perfect picture opportunities. The inside of the castle, with its' dark staircases and lantern lit, long and narrow corridors offer plenty of entertainment (spooky!) and perspective into life back in Edwardian times. A must see!

We loved it! Dog friendly 🐶 Lovely little shop with some classic tourist gifts. The castle was extremely well maintained, no litter or graffiti. A very impressive castle, lots of rooms and corridors to explore. There's a room where you can sit to watch a brief film about the history of the castle which has some interesting information. Really enjoyed visiting this castle, it was surprisingly intact and well preserved. The castle itself is situated in a small town/village which has a selection of café's, shops and some pubs.

What a great castle! Too bad it was never finished. Easy parking with the usual friendly helpful people in the shop to get tickets. It it my first castle with a moat around it. so great. Would not want to have tried to invade this castle back then. At first it seem short but then you learn it was not completed, but when you get inside it seems huge!

Best £5.50 I've spent in a long time. Well worth the visit, great views from the top of the walls across the moat and surrounding countryside and sea. Lots of fun clambering up the walls and steep steps, and exploring the cave-like inner castle. Maybe not suitable for people with mobility issues and very muddy.

Atmospheric and you feel the pull of history . Great day out to explore the beautiful town of Beaumaris. Castle is situated at the top end close to car park toilet and cafes. Easy walking distance and flat . Easy to navigate and a great mix of shops and cafes.
