We were looking for lunch, fish & chips nearly £16 in cafés.. saw this beautiful hotels lunch menu 2 course £18.. What a surprise. Such a beautiful old building. I settled for fish cakes, excellent, sausage & mash, chocolate brownie & ice cream.. what fabulous value for £18.. our 1st choice now in Beaumaris Food & drinks: Fabulous
Only used the hotel bar and didn't stay here. Good selection of beer and very friendly staff. The feel is very traditional, classy and up market. Great place to relax with a nice beerService: 5/5
Excellent hotel to stay at if you are looking for peace and quiet. It's rated a 3 star but the food is 4 star, rooms are spacious, comfy beds, very good breakfast, views of Snowdonia mountains, we'd go back.Rooms: 5/5
Overpriced. The hotel has a lovely location and I just about managed to get a parking space both days on site. The breakfast was also nice. The room was a tiny dated box room and a bathroom you couldn't swing a cat in. I dont mind this too much as I'd be out exploring most of my trip. However, the room and facilities are very dated and smell musty. Hard to maneuver in bathroom and the floor plate has dangerous tops of screws sticking up. The shower is very old fashioned and comes from bath tap with the water not getting very hot. Not to mention lots of other little things. The worst part about my stay was that I couldn't get any sleep both nights of my stay. I was looking forward to some decent shut eye whilst on my hols aswell. The reason I got no decent sleep was due to some sort of sawing noise throughout the night and morning no idea what it was. There are also pigeons nesting on the window sill that is located right next to the tiny single beds headboard! At least the pigeons had a good chat the whole time I was trying to sleep. I expect to be woken up by seagulls, but not pigeons throughout my entire stay. I now have a 3 hour drive home with no sleep. I wouldn't mind so much if I hadn't have paid quite a lot of money to stay here. They need to half the price or improve their standards. This is just honest feedback and information that I would want to know if I was running a hotel. I probably wouldn't stop here again. This hotel/room needs work.
Great hotel has a wonderful old school charm. Views from the front vantage point is spot on looking back at the mainland. Weather was kind on my visit and enjoyed a very nice pint whilst taking in the views of the Menai Straights. First class Welsh Breakfast will definitely be paying a return visit or two!Rooms: 4/5

State of the art in the 19th century. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend,, Only thing I did not like . memory foam mattress.but that's personal preference.
Great night. Away.. Food was unreal, evening meal wow and breakfast amazing. The experience that made it magical for us was the waitress, Anharad hope this is spelt right she was amazing, she checked every glass for cleanliness and really worked the dining room by constantly observing the guests needs, removing used plates, putting on new table cloths, her service to guests was impeccable, her politeness and professionalism second to non.. Hang on to this amazing team member.. Thank you young lady, you made our night.
Went for afternoon tea. We found ourselves as the only people dining so not much atmosphere. For £22 a head it was disappointing to find the bread for the sandwiches had started to dry out round edges and the scones just crumubled when you went to cut them and werent home made.Service: 4/5
Absolutely beautiful hotel in the perfect location! This is always my go to hotel when in Beaumaris. Rooms are spacious and well equipped and the views are amazing!Rooms: 5/5
