Tried to sell to them wouldn't recommend it. Was disappointed in trying to sell stuff have that can just watch on Disney+ or on Prime ‍ the ones they would take was offered less than $4 each a season ‍even $5 a season would have understood and now just going to keep X-Men movies which they today weren't interested in cause they already had many in stock. I was trying too to sell some Supernatural seasons and think maybe out of the 4 would only take maybe 1 or 2 and those alone should have gotten more than $4 which was the total cause can't remember but think a few of the random movies had too were good enough aka no overstock or quality issues
Buying a cd there for 8$ not really a lot ask the guy behind the counter if I didn't like what he give for it the next day he said 50 cents . Staff there think there better then everybody. Wont go back
always a great place to look for unuasual an long forgotten movies an Cds.great staff an they can check their other locations an either have it shipped directly to you or pickup at the store.Have been dealing there for yrs so that should mean something..
Have been really impressed by other Beat Goes on locations like Guelph but this store was really underwhelming and the staff were pretentious and grating to deal with.
Prices here are outrageous, everything I looked at was at least like 30% cheaper used on Amazon. Some of their used stuff was every more expensive than brand new online. I don't get who shops here.
LOVE this store... My Go To Place for Media of all kind... Free shipping if you shop online and pick up at the store.. Staff are awesome and there is always great music playing.. My only recommendation is adding an extra cash register/till.. It can be a long wait if multiple people are all waiting to check out. I always plan for extra time but it would be nice to check out quicker..
For the life of me I cannot figure out how this place has such a high rating or why people buy from them. Im a big movie collector and I've been to all the movie places in town, this was one, if the worst. Its grossly over priced. A used movie should never be more then $2 unless its rare. I think the cheapest I saw was $4. What really blew my mind, I went into the rare section. They had multiple movies wildly over priced. There was one for $70 used. On amazon you can buy the same movie never opened, brand new for $30. Alot of their used $50 movies you can buy on amazon never opened for $25. They also had a series for $60, I bought the exact same series at Jumbo for $10, and it was in better condition. This place is overpriced.
I used to go and buy movies there all the time. The prices are ridiculous now. It's cheaper just to buy most of this stuff new.
Love this place! They have a great variety of music and the staff are friendly, too. When I was younger, I had this movie soundtrack CD that I loved so much but lost it. I couldn't find it anywhere else for years. Then I found 1 copy on Amazon for $20 and was contemplating on buying it but before I did, I told my brother about it and he called The Beat Goes On and asked if they had it in stock. They sure did! They put it on hold for us to pick it up the next day. When we went there, the staff explained to us that the CD was used but in good condition. They clean and make sure the CDs work before selling them. Bonus, the soundtrack was only $2.99! This place is awesome, totally recommend checking it out if you're looking for hard to find CDs.
Great shop for used DVD and CD’s. The staff are very helpful
