Came here for our company Xmas party and loved it. Staff were friendly and helpful, trying to see if they do casual dinning if I take my partner here but can't seem to find that info... Corporate comms could use some work but once you're there food and atmosphere is fantastic.
If you are on the fence going? Do it. Put on some fancy clothes and have an amazing experience. Food, The staff and pianist are amazing. Was a highlight of our trip in london. Of course its best to book well in advance as this is in high demand.
Horrible food and the few of the staff members were rude.
Great place to have tea after a visit of the british Museum.
Not cosy, as low tables and shallow armchairs are set straight in the main reception area, on a thoroughfare. Service is very poor - we arrived 5 min late for our booking, and our table was not even set, had to wait 10 min whilst someone bothers to set a table clearly, we were not even deserving of a tablecloth, unlike other diners, then food arrived 15 min after a teapot was served, after chasing. Sandwiches were made of stale bread, tasted awful. Scones were nice and warm, but desserts were overly sweet. Overall, an OK experience if you're tired after the British Museum and just want to drop somewhere for a quick bit. But definitely not good enough as a treat / special occasion. Go the the Langham or Claridges for that you'll pay a premium but that's well worth it.
We stumbled across this place during a rainy day in London, wearing rain coats and shopping bags. The staff treated us like royalty any how, I don't think I've ever been treated so nicely. We had the after noon tea and it was absolutely amazing, best tea and scones I've ever had.
Worst afternoon tea ever and overpriced, completely destroyed my London-experience. They take a 10 pound service fee and couldnt give us proper and safe allergy-info. Also cold scones and took 20 min to get the Check. Dont go there.
The Atmosphere was welcoming they had calm relaxing music to accompany the afternoon Tea. The selections and variety of desserts was to die for it was overall a fantastic experience for a first time afternoon tea.
Loved my crumpets marmalade and Piccadilly sandwich Would reccomend #iFood
A trip to London isnt complete unless and afternoon here.
