I'm giving them a five star review for my friend Gail. They listened to her and took very good care of her Siamese cat. It's sad it was bad news but at least she found out in a timely manner. Thanks to the Vet that took care of her baby. Great job and keep up the fine work and caring for peoples companions!
We were, until very recently, with Kingsteignton Group Vet, Kingsteignton branch. we'd been with them probably about 10 years and had always had brilliant care...until now. I exclude Dr Howard who is brilliant but semi retired...this would not have occurred had it still been his own independant surgery. In short, we had to beg for any appointment we could get and only got seen twice by a vet over a 10 day period even though we rang most days saying our cat was sick. They told us it was toothache, nothing else. in total panic having given up on Kingsteignton Vets, poorly cat in our car, we rang BAY VIEW, Dawlish branch. Nicky answered the phone and had to deal with a crying and angry client, me, sobbing down the phone and begging for help. She was SO kind and took a chance that we weren't crazy but stressed and got us seen in less than 2 hours. Dr Fergus took less than 1 minute to diagnose that our Siamese, who is only 7 yrs old, was indeed extremely ill and was showing serious neurological signs. he arranged for us to be seen the next morning by Dr Rod who is also an ophthalmologist as well as being a vet surgeon. He made it clear that there was a possibility that she may have a brain tumour....nThe whole team is now treating our cat symptomatically and we check in with them 2 or 3 times a week. Our cat has got her life back for now. We know she may be on borrowed time but she's happy, she can walk again and we have this precious time with her.nnAll of this is down to BAY VIEW, Dawlish.nnSo, thank you Nicky for taking a chance on me when I first rang you.nThank you Dr Fergus.nThank you Dr Rod.nThank you Terri Manager and qualified Vet nursenThank you NatashanAnd every single one of you, all of whom are wonderful and saved us from the nightmare of not being believed.
Great vet! Our dog jumped down a wall don’t ask and we were super worried even though she didn’t show any signs of injuries. We went to their branch in Teignmouth and they were able to get us an appointment in Dawlish almost right away. The doctor were super kind to us and our dog and got her checked.nI can only recommend this place!
Absolutely brilliant. We had the misfortune of needing to see a vet while on holiday close by. Not only was our dog seen in just over an hour, a little later she had a minor operation to remove a troublesome grass seed. The receptionist was brilliant at getting my dog's medical records, before I had even left the car park! Vet nurse was so kind. Vet himself was excellent, really approachable. Excellent all round care, fair price. We were made very welcome. Also office staff who sorted out the insurance claim the same day they were contacted. Meaning that I was paid the next day. Excellent team. Thank you all.
