Where do I begin. I came here while on holiday with my family and the atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal. The prices are fantastic and the range variety and quality of books is amazing. We all got a few books each and didn’t cost much for some fantastic books. Would 100% recommend go even just for a look but definitely to get some good quality fair priced second hand books
An unmissable part of any trip to Alnwick!nThis second-hand bookshop, housed in the old train station building, is legendary.nThousands of titles are on the shop floor with many more hidden in the back too.nA miniature railway rockets around one room and there is a lovely mural painted in there too.nThe cafe makes simple and delicious food, although you’ll probably need to queue for a few minutes before they find a space for you.nAn absolute treasure!
What a book shop. It has everything from car parking, great cafeteria and toilets. I forgot the most important thing, they have more secondhand books than you can imagine. Great atmosphere and pleasant and helpful staff. A very nice model railway running round above head height.
An absolute must for any bookworms. What a wonderful shop. Second hand books to peruse and purchase. As well as a lovely cafe serving tasty treats. You could spend hours here.
Quaint large book shop. Has small trains running around part of the area, as this was Alnwick train station many years ago. Coffee shop, toilets, coal fires on cool days. Can spend an hour or so easily browsing
