Totally unprofessional and a waste of time. Went to Barry Bros and explained my needs and was told a specialist would be in touch. Ten days later, no follow-up! I go back to the shop and have a long discussion with Tony and fix up an appointment to visit my flat. He misses the scheduled appointment and apparently has no note of it. On subsequent visit, I spend more than half an hour setting out my requirements and immediately follow-up in writing defining the same. Three or four chaser emails and more than a month later and no response. If you’re too busy or don’t want the work then just say so! Don’t mess prospective customers around, nobody has time for this…
Zero communication skill. We tried many ways to get a fire certificate of two solid steel doors, very expensive, bullet proofed been told purchases via them while ago. No reply or answer as every time communicated been put through to someone else and else went on. I believe their only aim is to sell and forget it.
The service here is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable! I would highly recommend for your security and locksmithing needs!
I wanted to get a quote for research purposes for the cost of installing video entryphone's to our building. The boss was extremely helpful, and showed integrity in the way he operated. He told me that his work was not cheap, but the quality of his work was impressive. Its rare today to find businesses that are ready to do the work with integrity quality and give you what you sign up for.
Praed Street showroom/key cutting workshop: this is definitely only open 08:30-18:00 Monday-Friday closed on weekends as of July 2022. The Barry Bros website is wrong. The business keeps setting hours on Google as 24-7 but this only refers to their emergency locksmith service, not to the shop. Otherwise, great service and one of the few places in London able to duplicate Mult-T-Lock door keys.

Range of security items on show here from alarms, safes, to door locks and various keys. Also array of keys possible to cut. It was a bit pricey and i was disappointed by the man on the counter who basically ignored me while I looked around the door locks but all over another customer when they came in. Bit of a shame as I am just about to buy from competitor.
I booked a locksmith through Barry Brothers - they sent another company “locks 4 you” or something like that…. The guy was very good and did a great job. I paid the bill - when I received the invoice which was a lot, I realised they had charged me congestion charge £12.50 even though the property is nowhere near the congestion zone plus parking which they didn’t pay because they parked outside I emailed and questioned - they haven’t bothered to respond - won’t use again.
Waste of time. They never get back to you. They tell you they will contact you in a week and never do
Brilliant. Really knowledgeable and solved my lock problem on the spot.
