4 years ago when we moved house we purchased some new furniture from Barrow Clark. What a lovely place to shop!! Nothing is too much trouble, the store staff and the delivery guys are all so polite. knowledgeable and friendly. No this is not a late review - we have recently purchased a new reclining chair and we have received the same friendly, excellent customer service. It is such a pleasure to shop with Barrow Clark its a pity we don't need to buy furniture more often!! Thank you to all the team but in particular Many Thanks to Ben.
Barrow Clarke is the most friendliest furniture store you will ever come across. They stock a wide array of items at very good prices. The whole team have always made us feel very welcome. From start to finish it was a pleasure dealing with them. Nothing is too much trouble. Our new sofa arrived and was put in situ with the minimum of fuss ,delivery team where very courteous ,polite and great to deal with. Keep up the great work,will definitely purchase again from them.
I can not even put into words just how amazing Rich and his team are!! I ordered a limited edition edge sculpture from him and although I live 275 miles away which would have took me nearly 5 hours to drive there I didn’t need to. I contacted Rich to see if he would receive the item I wanted and he was only getting 2 in stock. After chatting to Rich he promised to reserve me one and to keep me updated every step of the way. Rich definitely kept his promise and did keep me updated, from when it was arriving in his store to when he actually got it and sent me photos of it to him posting it out to me. I never expected it quite as quick as I got it which is testament to how hard Rich works. There would never be enough words to thank him as much as I possibly can and I would highly recommend him to anyone!! Not even just for edge sculptures his range of products is truly amazing and I recommend checking his page out! So once again Rich Thankyou so much I will forever be grateful for what you have done for me!!
We recently bought a new bed from Barrow and Clark. Absolutely outstanding service whatever your price range. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We bought just what we needed and we are very satisfied with our purchase. From the moment we entered the shop, to the bed being delivered, the service at Barrow and Clarke is excellent, timely and personable. Would definitely recommend Barrow and Clark.
We had already purchased furniture from Barrow Clark but needed a new chair. So we went in on Tuesday 3 Jan. Met Ben, who was very helpful, chose our chair and found it could be delivered on Thursday 5 Jan. So good!! The 2 who delivered it were very helpful and careful. A very good advert for Barrow Clark. Overall a very good buying experience. Thank you all
The staff are so helpful, and this didn't stop after we had bought and paid for our sofas. We had some problems with the seat cushions and wanted them replaced. This was organised by Freddie and Ben, they sorted our new cushions for us, after three attempts by the supplier sending the wrong ones!!, even picking up the old ones from us when the supplier was 'dragging his feet' about arranging this. Certainly can't say enough good things about them. Would definitely recommend Barrow Clark, we will definitely be popping in the next time we are in Barnstaple
Great place to shop, has very good quality products... If you are looking for something special this is a good shop to go to. Staff are very nice. Bought a Fama Sofa from here. Rob was very knowledgeable. Recommend.
My wife and I have just bought a house and were on the search for a sofa for around Spring '22. We decided to go to a place in Budleigh Salterton which would've been perfect if you had a spare 10-20k cash with no finance options. We left in disarray. How could sofas be so expensive? We knew what were after so we called Barrow Clark and spoke to a bloke named Freddie. Our prayers had been answered. Not only did Barrow Clark stock a vast number of different types of sofas, in comparison to other stores, they were extremely competitive price wise. Will update when sofa received but my god, so far a great customer service. Knowledgeable and likeable and you can't ask for more than that.
Have bought a number of items from Barrow Clarke in recent years. My budget is not big and my purchases have been at the lower end. Without exception I have always been delighted. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and everything I have bought has been quality. In particular I would like to thank Ben who I have dealt with the most. His knowledge of the furniture is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble.
I have bought numerous items of furniture from Barrow Clark over the past 20 years. Never disappointed with regard to quality or choice. Staff are always friendly and knowledgable, prices competitive and delivery timescales not too long. If you are looking for quality furniture in the North Devon area it's well worth checking out Barrow Clark.
