I got a chicken Ceasar salad, and the chicken is processed chicken. Not real chicken. I am deeply disappointed at the quality and price point. Obviously, this place and owner has no pride in the establishment because they are serving such a thing. The ingredients say "grilled chicken" but did not include the other ingredients inside the fake chicken.
Sandwich was ok, nothing special. Overpriced, as is all airport restaurants. The staff behind the counter was quick to direct me to tim hortons, not sure what that was about. I would not call a pre-made sandwich with processed lunch meat premium as she did.Food: 3/5
$18 for a "vegetariano" sandwich that was supposed to contain farinata chick peas, roasted peppers, eggplant, onions and pickled vegetable spread. The reality was a sprinkle of pickled red onions, two tiny strips of red pepper and a handful of sliced black olives on stale bread.
Breakfast sandwich was still frozen in the middle after going through their toaster. Very expensive, better off going to Starbucks to pay the same for something edibleFood: 1/5
Tried to charge me $10 for a tiny hummus snack saying it was the same as a yogurt parfait. I said no. They said yes and then suddenly changed their mind and charged me $5. They should both be fired immediately. Extremely disappointed and a lot of other people probably got ripped off as well. Go anywhere else in the airport.Food: 1/5
The place was quiet when we went in the morning. Quick and good service. The coffee was delicious. Good choice of food options as well.
Line up is back past itself. 15+ minutes waiting. Only had 1 person doing cash, stock, coffee and bakery items. I've never seen someone as slow as the employees. Literally lining up the muffins twice. Stopping wander over to pick something up, then put it down again. It looked like they were background people in a movie. 2 other workers showed up, but one got on her phone speaking about something she did on the weekend and another who had a lost dog expression. Bought 2 pops, two prepackaged sandwiches, a reg coffee and an apple.....$54 dollars. They must be able to afford people who want to work. These people work acting like they were doing community service.
Their slogan is "Born in nature handmade by us" when everything in their outlet by gate D31 is the same stuff at sold at almost every other take out in the airport and I mean literally - the exact same brand. Also four sandwiches, all premade and prepackaged and the same as the ones everyone else is selling, all have meat so nothing for vegetarians or vegans.
My NOBLE sandwich was anything but. Grabbed it for the ride home from Pearson. Top bread was dry and cracked in three pieces which was hidden nicely by the large attractive label. The bottom bread was unedible wet. Waste of good money -nothing fresh about it. I would have preferred to give a zero star rating but not an option.
Don't go here. Be patient. I wasn't - I was lazy. I deserve this Mediterranean Wrap, with its dry contents that I need to wash down with each gulp. Next time I'll hold out for something better down by gate 41. Something tastier than a wad of lettuce wrapped in carbs. Maybe I'll find the hummus that apparently used to be in these wraps, but left a long time ago.
