Our traditional pub building has been stylishly refurbished making it the ideal place to find a cosy corner and take time out whilst enjoying some of our Chefs seasonal dishes and our great selection of wines, ales and lagers.

Inside you will find roaring log fires, comfy armchairs to while away the afternoon and an open bar with a unique dining room.

On a perfect Sunday morning, with the warm temperature adding to the charm, my experience at Barnt Green Inn was nothing short of delightful. We started by enjoying a drink outside, soaking in the pleasant weather before indulging in our Sunday roast feast. Opting for the trio of roast plate, which featured chicken, beef, and pork belly, was a decision I didn't regret. Each meat was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and accompanied by all the traditional trimmings. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. Service throughout our meal was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The interior decor added to the ambiance, with beautiful touches that elevated the dining experience. Overall, Barnt Green Inn proved to be a top-notch Sunday roast destination. From the delicious food to the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service, it exceeded all expectations. Super happy service. Dinner was lovely. White crab on sourdough and scallops lovely, fish and chips was GORGEOUS! The duck salad was not as I expected, but pleasant. I've never had coconut flakes on salad and that was pleasant. Very generous portion, too. I'd like more choice in wine by the glass. Thank you for reversing a previously disappointing experience into a 5 star one. We all get things wrong form time to time, so being able to put them right is essential. Faith is restored and loyalty renewed.
I have dined at The Barnt Green Inn on numerous occasions and have been extremely happy with the food quality and service. Today however I invited a group of friends to sample the Festive Menu and the overall experience was not a good one. The starters were acceptable but the main courses and desserts were not up to standard. Myself and two other guests ordered the pork belly which tasted as if it has been reheated in addition to which the sprouts were hard and inedible. The creme brulee was warm and of a liquid consistency so I sent it back. Very disappointed and feeling quite anxious because I have booked a table for Christmas Day lunch for myself and 6 family members.
We came to try out their new summer menu and have to say the whole visit was incredible. The food was outstanding as always, we’ve never had a bad meal at the Barnt green inn. The pork belly we had was cooked perfectly and melted in our mouths, and the 10oz steak was cooked exactly how we asked it to be and was very tender. Our waitress Agne couldn’t do enough for us and was amazing! If you’re after a 10/10 meal you need to try out the Barnt green inn
Have been here a few times, has always been great with friendly staff. The menu has a good choice food is great too. Came back on 14/12/23 was excellent i had the fixed corse season menu was very good with nice choices. Had a fantastic family Sunday dinner. Our server Agne was absolutely incredible. My father has dementia and she went above and beyond. She showed such kindness and was so attentive to his needs. Well above what we would expect. She made the experience even better and allowed us to relax and enjoy the great food. Dietary restrictions: They use glass onion to ensure any allergies are checked and double checked everything was ok for us
Food is absolutely phenomenal here! Chuffed to be living nearby! Beautifully served food, great portions and just very high quality delicious food! Friendly staff and lovely vibes! One of my favourite pubs!! Recommend the churros dessert and of course the lamb for mains!!
We had a table booked for 12 on a Friday night for a colleague's leaving do. Food was great and enjoyed by all. I want to give a special mention though to our server Agnes. Being a large party we would have been a complex table, especially when it came to paying the bill, but Agnes was brilliant. She got everything right and was fantastically patient with us. Having someone who is attentive without being pushy makes a meal out so much more special and she got the ballance perfect. Thank you for making it a great evening.
A warm welcome from all staff on arrival. There was a long queue at the bar when we arrived, bar staff served everyone quickly and we found a table to sit at despite everywhere being very busy. There was a singer outside getting ready to deliver his set. Indoors relaxed Ibiza sounds were playing, providing a good "vibe". We were unable to hear the singer once he began his set due to the music being played inside. We were soon seated in the restaurant and immediately asked for a drinks order. As we knew what we wanted to eat we also placed our food order. The service was excellent throughout the evening. The food all 3 courses was fantastic. Beautifully presented, excellent taste and plentiful. We really enjoyed dining at The Barnt Green Inn and will be returning again soon.
Booked a table for two and had three courses, all were brilliant , all team members were very professional and attentive. Our server was a young lady with blue hair who was very friendly and polite. Can't fault anything with the experience will definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
