Right from the beginning, when I was making enquiries about courses, I was made to feel welcome and relaxed. Becoming a mature student frightened me, it was nearly 30 years since I qualified as a hairdresser and I hadn't been back to college since. When I had my interview and tour of the facilities any fear that I had dissipated and I decided that I would sign up to my chosen level 3 nail technology course. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the 15 week course. My tutor, Lauren, although quite a bit younger than myself, treated me as an equal and showed patience and understanding throughout. After qualifying as a nail technician in August 2017 I decided i would like to go back to White rose and signed up to do level 2 beauty therapy. I started the 30 week course in September 2017 and am half way through it, I love it. I look forward to going every week, partly because I have a new found thirst for learning and partly because the college and all staff are fantastic. They are helpful in all aspects, whether it's college related, course related or personal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend White Rose to anyone who is looking for a career in Beauty.

Absolutely love this school. Feels like home . Offer so much and all the staff are friendly and supportive in every way . I just want to stay here and learn everything they offer . Brilliant set up and fantastic products so neat and tidy looks so professional making me as a student feel professional which gives me more confidence . Just love it so much .

I was extremely nervous on my first day. This was something completely different to anything I had ever done before! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, I left smiling from ear to ear and couldn’t wait for my next class.

The first thing i noticed as i walked into college for the first time was the calming, clean place flowers and candles it was beautiful the staff are all amazing, no matter their role in the college they are very friendly and approachable thankyou for amazing training miss you all💖💖💖 xxx

I have just completed two level 3 courses at White Rose in Barnsley. I've thoroughly enjoyed both courses and I would love to go back should anything arise! The staff are very supportive, push you to achieve and they are always there to advise you no matter what you ask. Vicky, the Make Up tutor is an absolute inspiration and a pleasure to be around. Her kind and helpful manner makes you feel at ease but her knowledge of Make Up will blow you away! I'm a mature student and was a little hesitant to go back to studying however White Rose made it easy for me to decide to go back to study and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and do something else if the perfect course comes along. Thank you to each and every tutor for everything you've done. You make such a difference without really realising it. See you all again soon hopefully. xxxx
