Fabulous location and pub. Dined with family and young children, very welcoming and superb service. This is top class pub grub for all. Stunning river views and beautifully kept establishment. Beer garden and nearby parking options.
Fabulous, cosy pub on the river Thames with great Christmas decorations, atmosphere, and music, plus the open fire topped it off. The manager, Karim, and his staff are so obliging and attentive. Travelling solo and my first time in UK, it was my first experience at a good, old-fashioned British pub. Loved sitting by the fire having mulled wine. Went back another night for fish and chips, finishing the evening with a baileys hot chocolate. I recommend this spot for a drink or dinner and would come back next trip. Thanks for a lovely experience team and for creating a great memory.
The Balmy Arms is an extremely popular Twickenham Pub on the Embankment, looking across the River Thames to Eel Pie Island.nnA large area of outside seating which is most popular except in bad weather, and a small but cosy bar inside.nnGood quality pub food is usually available, plus a changing range of real beers.nnGreat riverside views and many places of interest make this a popular pub, both with locals and tourists.nnJust behind the Barmy Arms is Church Street, another popular tourist spot with plenty of restaurants.
We had the best night at the Barmy Arms this evening. Loved Mr Wonderful behind the bar who looked after us really well. And the food was great. The steak and ale pie was delicious. Also good prices
1st proper day of Spring and no better pub to celebrate Mothers Day than the Barmy Arms in Twickenham in the sunshine!! A decent pint of Guinness & great food by the river watching the tide rise. A lovely vibe as always with great hospitality from Mr Wonderful and his team
