2020 is our 20th year proudly serving the city of Chester! To say thank you to you for being our wonderful guests for over 2 decades we will be celebrating throughout the year with 20 unmissable events! So, we look forward to welcoming you!

Story

As the original cocktail bar in Chester, we have been serving great food and drink for over 18 years in the heart of the City.
We offer our guests the opportunity to drink, dine and socialise in informal surroundings, from the impressive bar area, a relaxed restaurant and there’s no better setting in Chester City centre than the sun terrace to enjoy a drink or two. For the Winter months it’s heated and covered so you can settle down for the night.
Whether you’re after a quiet drink to read the papers, a beer at the bar or a night out with friends sipping cocktails you are always welcome at Barlounge. With an impressive cocktail list that brings to life the creativity, skills and knowledge of the bar team who have all created bespoke signature cocktails that take inspiration from around the world there is a cocktail for everyone. And our bartenders can also make all the classics you know and love, along with Champagnes, every type of sprit you can imagine and a wide selection of beers.
Our British Sharing Plates menu is served all day from 11am until 11pm, expect bold flavours, twists on classic dishes and quality ingredients. The menu changes regularly but highlights include Chargrilled 190-day grain fed flat-iron steak, chorizo & parmesan croquettes, crayfish arancini and bai buns, along with our classics chicken skewers, baby sausages and Barlounge KFC burger. The legendary Sunday Roast is available all day every Sunday.
Barlounge welcomes friends new and old, you’re just as welcome to join us to dine in the restaurant as you are for a drink in the bar.
