The atmosphere is good, however the drink selection is poor! Ask if you have anything the non alcoholic and caffeine free and got "Coke" as response. After looking around finally found a drink which met with our parties needs. Can imagine it would also get a bit crowded in the bar area if there was more the 10 people there.

A wonderful and friendly local pub. The staff are wonderful and friendly, having a wealth of knowledge about the area aswell as the food and drink they offer. Food is reasonably priced and large in portion size. They do local events such as comedy nights and sell local produce to support the area. A brilliant place, well worth the visit.

A beautiful old public house, decorated superbly to highlight original features. They even have a wooden version of table skittles in the bar along with other bar games. The staff&locals are really friendly&it has a very welcoming atmosphere. The food is all cooked fresh&locally sourced&is well presented&delicious, but there always seems to be a long wait for your food, probably because everythings cooked fresh? They even have homemade bread, cakes, preserves for sale,I recommend the large slab of homemade bread pudding it was yummy! Well worth a visit for a special occasion, or if your not in a hurry! I will defo be visiting there again when we're next in the area.

Good traditional country pub, lots of seating, dogs allowed in bar area, food produce locally sourced. Bit of a wait between ordering and receiving dessert, otherwise would give it a 5.

Dog and child friendly pub with great food, good beer, warm fire and skittles! The best Sunday roast in the area. We love the place and sense of community. All you could want in a great local pub.
