We moved into our new Bargate home just over a week ago and we couldn’t be happier. Having bought a Bargate home previously in Southampton, we knew the overall quality was very good. I would say our experience at Bishops Meadow has surpassed our previous experience. The quality of the build and the finish is second to none. The design and layout is excellent. The quality of the garden, turf and landscaping has vastly improved. The Sales Team Especially but not limited to Charlie and Jonathan has been excellent, sending photos of our property each week and on site visits throughout the build was great. I would highly recommend Bargate as I rarely give 5 stars.
I recently bought a new Bargate home moving in in April 2022. The sales team at Bargate did a great job supporting me throughout the whole process from first walk round at the show home to moving in day and beyond. Every week I got a progress report from them with photos of different aspects of my new home. Jonathan and Charlie were always there on the end of the phone or by email to answer any questions and were happy to help with getting access to measure up for curtains and so on. Since I gave moved in they are in site and happy to help and always with a cheery smile. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I love my new home it fits my needs perfectly but if I were to move again I would not hesitate to turn to Bargate for my new house
We reserved our property in April 2021 on Bishops Meadow development. Although our property was not going to be ready until later that year, we were so impressed with the development plan, the house design, the quality of the finish and the plot. We decided very quickly that we would reserve the plot as it was everything we were looking for. Our journey with Bargate sales office has been outstanding. We dealt with Charlie, Jonathan and Naomi, who have been excellent, although all the staff have been great. They kept us updated through the whole process from build updates and photos every week. Our site visits were always informative and it was lovely to see the property through all the stages of build. If we had any issues or concerns, they were dealt with promptly and professionally. Our handover of the property was on time and a thorough introduction with Paul was excellent. Overall a ten out of ten experience and we are delighted with our new house.
We moved into our new Bargate home just under a week ago. We reserved our home before the first brick had been laid and I can 100% confirm it has been worth the wait. We are so happy that we purchased a Bargate home. The attention to small details is the difference between a typical new build and a Bargate home. The sales team have been amazing throughout making sure we were continuously updated. Would absolutely recommend! Thanks, Bargate!
Thank you so much to everyone at Bargate, the sales team and in particular Jonathan and Charlie have been absolutely fabulous. I finally moved in a week ago after many months of watching the build, updated every week with photos, it was brilliant being able to see it virtually from the start. The finish and attention to detail are second to none and I would highly recommend purchasing a Bargate home.
As first time buyers we could not of asked for a better experience. I have dreamt of owning my own home and I am so pleased that I did it with Bargate! The experience that this company has and the individuals it employs are excellent. Bargate truly took the stress out of moving home. My family and I are delighted with our home, the setting, the views and our experience. In my opinion, I do not think there is anything the team could improve on. Jonathan, Charlie and Naomi - have looked after us every step of the way and continue to look after us even after completion. We are truly thankful for their patience, knowledge and experience. Every single interaction with them was positive, the team have communicated with us every step of the way, answered countless questions and informed us of minor details. In July 2020, we bought a new build in Bishop's Waltham, built by Bargate Homes. We were immediately impressed by the manner in which they conducted themselves. Their marketing team has done an excellent job in presenting Bargate as a family business - and this isn't just an image. The more time we spent with Bargate, the more it became clear that they are more than just a faceless building conglomerate. They are a company that care about the finer details, and clearly care about the customer too. We had a rather tumultuos transaction due to issues with our buyer nothing to do with Bargate, but Charlie and Margaret from The Brick Station were there every step of the way. They offered advice when we needed it, and even stepped in to help out in certain situations where they could. We are so pleased we made the decision to buy from Bargate.
We bought a Bargate home at the Brickstation in Bishops Waltham and apart for a few snags in the home we are very pleased with it but in tune with a lot of the negative reviews on here let’s move to the site landscaping and finish. Right from the start of the process we bought the house by the pond, the pond was on the Bargate drawings. The sales team confirmed it was a pond as they would because that’s what it said on the drawing. It the survey it was highlighted that it would in fact be a swale or SUD! This was bought up with the sales team and we were told that it would be delivered fully landscaped and would retain 1.2m of water in normal conditions. What we actually have is a fenced off mess of weeds with a life ring and a deep water sign. I still believe the pond/swale could be easily balanced and corrected by Bargate but they have taken the money and run to the next job. Poor finishers!
We have been so impressed with Bargate Homes and at this moment in time would highly recommend buying a new build property with them. The process was new to us but Lorraine specifically has been so helpful, efficient and pleasant throughout the whole process! We completed on the house today and move in officially tomorrow, so can't comment on living in the property yet but we believe the hard part is over. The houses are beautifully built, and ours is more than we could have hoped for. Bargate have been a lovely company to deal with, thank you!
We’ve recently moved in to our new home at Bishops Meadow after reserving over a year ago! I remember booking our first appointment with Naomi to arrange a visit to the new development. We instantly fell in love with the location and knew that was where we wanted to live. We asked Naomi for all plots available within our budget which she happily emailed us and we decided on a plot that wouldn’t be ready for another year! We asked if we could reserve and Naomi made it happen for us! The communication over the past year has been excellent as well as the weekly updates that we receive from the team of pictures of our plot from the foundations to our finished home! We dealt with Jonathan and also Charlie as well who have both also been brilliant! They’re such a lovely sales team and the whole process has been amazing for us! We’re now in our lovely new home and have found the communication with the after care team to be just as good! They have been so quick to review and fix any snags. We’ve been seriously impressed with the entire process and love our new home!
