Woking Barclays bank - Good Customer relation management system. Neither I or a member of my family are have an account with Barclays, but I must comment, that it is easy to deposit a cheque without going to the counter. The machine allowed me to place a cheque into my account, and all i had to do was enter in the sort code and account number into the machine and place the cheque into machine. The receipt for the cheque shows a printed version of what is written on the cheque. usually when you use these machines, you need the debit or credit card, but at Barclays you can the deposit the cheque without either.

Booked an appointment to open an account on live chat had it confirmed in the chat. When I arrived they had no record of this. Was then waiting for over half an hour mostly ignored in the corner till they finally came back and said it would take another half an hour. What's the point in booking an appointment if the branch then has no clue about this. Would have been a bit better if the staff actually tried to do anything to say sorry rather than ignoring you.

Opening at 10am on a Wednesday is disgusting in busy town centre. Same people business need to bank at 9am every day Worst bank bad lazy staff. And closing the knaphill branch has now inconvenience 100s elderly people in local area , so well dun Barclay' s.

The contact no takes ages to connect . When an appointment is made with a named person in woking branch through contact no provided , the person was not aware appointment actually been made for her . Asked for and provided with a alternative contact no WHICH DOES NOT ACCEPT INCOMING CALLS !!!
