Avoid if you can. It's the only Barclays branch in whole Edinburgh. For your convenience it is located in the place where there is virtually 0 parking spaces or even car stopping places. It will take you at least 30 minutes (if you lucky) in heavy traffic to get there. Desk staff is undertrained I was bounced beetwen call center and branch 3 times before I managed to achieve what should be very easy and straightforward task. Luckily last person who served me was nice and we'll trained. If you value your time find better bank. Any offer they will make will eventually become meaningless.

Arrived at 9:30 am met at the door by Brodie who was very professional and polite. Our issues were delt with immediately and couldn't be happier with the service. We were also approached by Nitin who asked if there was anything else she could help with and she then gave us some very helpful advice and sorted out some other problems. I would have to say we were more than happy with our visit as the staff exceeded our expectations. 5 stars plus...

£200 missing transaction from my account, given 3 DIFFERENT excuses as to where the money is. I still don’t know where my money is after 15 days since the transaction was made. The member of staff who I was dealing with was unprofessional, rude and saying anything to get rid of me. I am glad I have moved banks, please avoid.

This bank is a disgrace..!only two tellers majority of time only one person on. Machines don’t work half the time. Went to get some statements printed of and was told to wait at waiting area..sat for about 15mins and asked guy next to me how long he had waited for, told me 60mins and there was still 6 other people waiting in front of me. Where are the staff? What are the staff doing, mostly running about with those iPads...useless! THE IPAD STORE IS NEXT DOOR! Why oh why did you ever shut down the other branch! Very disappointing will be considering changing banks.
