Rude arrogant staff! Needs to learn some customer service skills. Went in to pay some money into my account to be told ‘ we don’t open the cashiers On a Saturday! You have to pay in via atm outside’! I couldn’t do this as I had coins! So asked when there open in the week to which I got told 2.30pm when I’m at work. What’s the point in having a bank I can’t put money into! Absolute joke. Staff were so rude! Surprised any of them even have a job !
I work full time so can't visit in the week but had a very large amount of cash to pay in so came in on a Saturday. Although the cashier was open they refused to deal with me and said ATM only on Saturdays. So they wanted me to spend like 20 minutes feeding about 1000 notes into a machine in the wall outside with dozens of yobs hanging around. And they call themselves a bank. Nothing but a pile of @#*$ in truth...
Great staff....not sure on their carpark rules!! Tps happily issue parking fines like water !!!
Always find the staff to be jolly and approachable. My only gripe is not many tills open when extremely busy
If I could rate zero stars I would. Barclays Kettering disappointed me yesterday. And this happened to me 2 weeks ago 21/9/21 ago as well...the same woman I talked to 2 weeks ago... She stood there supporting Costomor's services.. But in me, this Jop comment doesn't suit her!! she doesn't care about me Because I want to open a new account for my son for a long term Barclays account, but today she can't because it's time to retire!! But the opening time for that day is until 4.30pm, but I got there at 3:50pm, she had 40 minutes. I said please help me as I am from a long distance from work. I work in Chleamford which is 3-4 hours by train. And she said she'd call me on Thursday. I might have an appointment on Saturday.. but since that day I haven't heard anything from the bank!!! Yesterday I went to the bank again. meet the same woman So I asked about an appointment with her. And ask why I have no contact from your team at all!? And she answered me "Because I'm gone" !! and over ?? She treats me like I don't care about Costomor like me. I've been going to Barclays costumes for 8 years, but I've never met someone who works in this bank at Kettering. Bad service like her!! She answered me because she left!!?? so..?? She said it like nothing happened!! Then I told her I had to book another appointment. Then she booked me on Saturday 2/10/21 which means tomorrow. But you don't have time to reserve!!? Until I asked her what time I could make an appointment... and she replied that we would contact you today. And let me know the time..!! But again...she's gone!! Went out and I was also told that if I wanted to make an appointment sooner then I almost got it. So walked across to Lloyd's Bank opposite Barclays and the same day I was able to open a new account for my son...Loyd's Kettering now got mine. I would say don't mess with Barclays as they make a profit before customer service.
Not sure what they’re doing there. Employees walking around just waiting to clock out. Cashier closed curtains and started cutting cards instead of serving customers lol this branch is a joke.
Another disappointed customer. Have a appointment scheduled at 9:30 spend 40 minutes waiting for someone to show up. Have left the car on their parking on the back of the building just to get ticket after a week with fine of £40 from Total Parking Solutions because of overstaying. Don't use that parking on any circumstances. Really disappointed and seriously thinking of leaving them shortly.
Counters closed on a Saturday, cash tills not taking cheques, Customer Service shocking
Utterly useless, may as well have gone to Wickes to do my banking. Saturday morning opening means doors are open, that is it, all the branch has the functionality of a log of wood. Arrogant, condescending staff with no interest in helping or retaining customers. Turned up with Euros to put into my account, couldn't be done, told to come back Monday - funnily enough I'm at work during the week. 4th time I've visited to do this transaction - don't bother going on Saturdays unless you can use a machine for your transaction. A prime example of the mickey taking bankers we all know and love!
