I made a standing order for my rent. It was taken twice in the same date at the same time. When I called them, they said they do not know who fault it is and could not even solve it. The online banking and the app do not even show the standing order. You should go to the branch to check or modify it. None sense
I was opened current account on 30th August 2022, thanks for Christopher Lunardi, the personal Banker professional and patience in explaining banking products .
Very bad past expire here before. Ground floor was quiet, and we were stood by a table waiting for a member of staff to see us, to arrange opening a new account. One of the presumably managers made eye contact with us several times, before seeing two separate groups of people who came in after us. Once she had finally spoken to the other groups of people, she came over to us, only to say "I won't be two minutes guys". At this point we left and very definitely won't be using this banking chain again.
Visited today after many years of using Internet banking instead of going into this particular branch. What a change! Hardly any staff,lots of computers to do almost everything you need via self service. The staff I needed help from were very helpful and I did manage to achieve what I came to do cheque in acc I love the ability to have Internet banking at home but when I visit the bank I expect to have a more personal experience face to face.
Went in to use one of their coin machines and was told that, even though they advertise a 50 coin limit, I wasn't even allowed to put that amount in. What is the point of having a coin machine if you can;t use it? I was given coin bags and made to painstakingly count out my coppers and silvers in the middle of the bank. Not very professional.
There is just no professionalism in handling customers. I booked an appointment and then they said there is no one available to accommodate so we can rearrange it. And on top of that giving false information on phone like if you register your details online it's done and we open it immediately. A big lie that is and then they admitted on phone it just takes you half way lol. What a joke of people here.
I have tried to ring the number stated on your website 5 times now to arrange an appointment to discuss my card type. The first 3 times after spending a considerable time filling it my card details I was hung up on without speaking to a human being. The fourth time I was round robined to 7 different computer systems, all requiring me to type me details in, before finally being put back through to the original computer system, yet again not speaking to a human being. Eventually I was able to speak to a person by ringing the generalised barclays number who told me that your branch does not exist, despite me giving them the name, street and postcode provided. Finally I tried ringing the number provided on your Facebook page, which has been discontinued. PLEASE tell me how to speak to a human being as all I want is an appointment so I do not have to take time off work to come in to be told no one can see me.
Dreadful customer service, lost ID papers, no requested statements for my deceased father's bank 3 months and two visits down the line, wasted time at branch and no local branch phone number, just a call centre in India somewhere. So frustrating!
Why do we have to wait so long in the line?? One lady serving and thousand others standing around by the door doing nothing.
Does not open till, 930 and then the cashier does not open till 10, rude and condescending front of staff house who firstly had to finish talking with coworkers about non worktopics, would not let me wait inside. Sit outside till ten on the dot now in a queue for cashier's desk....
