Barclays Bank

They don't have an accessible letter box, went to the counter to deliver in person and was told by very rude man that I couldn't do that as he would not ensure it's safe delivery. This was after waiting for 20 minutes for counter staff! Shockingly bad customer service.

It was local to get too. Now I have to go to the town centre. A pain in the bottom region.

Tending towards getting people to use self service tills so a long wait in one queue that leads to business and everyday tellers. They are very good dealing with one to one personal banking issues and financial matters

Went there to open a bank account. Was told that the next available appointment to see an adviser is in 13 days.

Forget trying the telephone number - impossible to contact the branch direct calls referred to national voicemail with a 10 minute wait - even with a business account so called small business telephone banking.. In branch service here leaves something to be desired -cashier would not accept a cheque payment by a colleague into my account today - unable or unwilling to check details of cheque payee against my account.
