What an amazing service! Matthew could not have been more helpful. He greeted customers coming in by name. He was polite, helpful and quick. This bank clearly provides a very valuable community service, more than simple banking. A breath of fresh air!

No humans to talk with via app. The worst aftercare I've ever experienced regarding help. Asking nearly all my card details for security passes so u don't know if the phone number is scamming you before a human picks up. Definitely have to be leaving. Can't even pay someone my money on the app for 4days as I just moved the app to a new phone.
Went to the Hastings branch today and had an appointment with a lady called Jody, she gave us fantastic service, very helpful, informative and friendly. Would be very happy to return to see her again should we need to. Highly recommend Jody! Thank you for your help :-
Unbelievable experience-no wonder banks are all closing. Bexhill branch closed so travelled unhappily over to Hastings only to be told the advertised closure time didn't apply to paying in coins. There were four people there, but impossible to take and bank £30 of coin after 2pm....and it didn't matter to them that I had already been inconvenienced. They tried to send me to the post office, but they can't accept cash on this account. Banks have truly lost the plot on customer service. Dreadful
Funny how easy it is to find a way to complain about Barclays representatives and how difficult to find a survey, website, email etc to give a positive feedback maybe something worth changing:. Yesterday 16.11.22 between 11am and 12noon I was served with an extraodrinarily polite, professional, above and beyond uc needed something that was nearly impossible "here and now", soothing, encouraging and uplifting service from Miss Charlotte in Hastings Branch, there was a lady who directed me to Charlotte and this lady was also exceptionally kind which mattered all the more after difficult experiences especially of last 2 weeks, unrelated to Barclays. On the 15th also via direct call or calling the uk customers number given on card I spoke with equally outstanding and understanding Miss Jasmine Jasmin?. My apologies for any misspeling. All 3 ladies deserve praise yet I don't know where to praise people. It's so easy these days to access complaint surveys, should be equally accessible to share lovely feedbacks about lovely people

Barclays Bank invest billions into projects driving biodiversity loss, including continuing to pump billions into new fossil fuel extraction and plastic production. They are one of the worst banks you can think of in terms of protecting our children’s futures.
Awful bank, with very poor services for clients, i've been trying to close my account 3 days in the row, having they telling me that i should call a number saying that only they can help me. When i'm calling that number they're sending me to the branch, like I'm in a maze. Very incapable staffnot everyone. The business team closed my account and they put the suspended tag on it, but they are still charging the business account monthly fee. I'm very disappointed.i think every Bank is better than this one.
Why barclays only ever have one person working is beyond me it clearly says 'business, corporate and international only' but never is!! Normally 4 staff stood around doing nothing or trying to encourage customers to use automated tills they don't want to use!! How about putting another one of these staff actually behind the counter serving people?? Your service is rubbish
