Terrible service told a 20 minute wait turned out to be an hour before I walked out I can't wait around all day while you all dilly dally around making little to no progress. No updates people who come in after you are seen before you just awful a horrible stressful experience. Seriously considering changing banks after this branches performance.
Incredibly poor performance from Linda. Tried to get a closing statement for an account, told previously all they needed was an old bank statement presumably because I have my ID on their system to verify my identity. Handed over my driver's licence which has my new address but she told me to come back with my passport. When I questioned her on where the logic is since the passport has no address she said my driver's licence wasn't vaild compared to what would be on her system. This would be true if I was trying to open and account, but not when I'm getting information and they already have my ID on file to identify me I'm still trying to work out the mental gymnastics of the situation. Think she needs better training.
Went in on a Friday afternoon at 16:15 just before closing, to update name on accounts after getting married. Wait was estimated at 30mins but was waiting 10mins max and all the staff were really nice, friendly and helpful! I was getting concerned about being turned away or staff not wanting to help as they closed in 15mins but not at all, they stayed open until everyone was sorted and I was really pleasantly surprised with the service and they updated all the accounts as we sat there without any fuss and they closed up after we left.
Seeing all the reviews and I didn't think it was going to be that bad. I had an appointment with Mrs Dipti Singh and I booked the appointment about 2 months ago to open a joint account. Everything was terrible, at first she prompted my husband to open an account on the App, I asked her why she didn't tell me beforehand since she previously called to confirm the appointment and she really didn't have a reasonable response. So my husband kept trying to open an account online and kept experiencing delays. So she decided she would try to fill in the information on her system and open it manually which was what we already expected in the first place, we gave her his passport and drivers license and she still filled out the information wrongly. We came in at 9;30 and left at around 11am and the whole process was a mess. I kept thinking we shouldn't haven't bothered. Overall slow and inefficient service. If I could do everything on the App, why would I go into the branch in the first place. I was going to report this to the branch Manager but you all have confirmed that the entire staff is bad and that's a huge reflection on the Manager.
The receptionist that dealt with was absolutely brilliant, she went above and beyond to assist me. I would 100% recommend this branch. Her name is Audra.
Only 3 tills open. Long waits. Frustrated customers. Staff couldn't resolve issues. I tried to use the machine which failed, went to the desk and after queueing 30 mins they told me to use a machine *facepalm*
Completely useless bank branch. Till services closed on Saturday at 12am although there are at least four advisors on shop floor don’t know how to say hello but can tell you about all unavailable services. How do you hope to compete with online banks is beyond me. Waste of time!
Long cue for the cashpoint that you can select your note values from. Counter is closed, why close the counter and have no extra cash points
The worst branch I have ever experienced in 17 years. Short of staff and very slow. Made me wait an hour to be served.
Terrible bank ,they closed my business account because they said I needed to update my bank details and I didn’t do It in time but they forgot to actually tell Me that I needed to,ZERO correspondence and over a month later they have still got all my money 10’s of 1000’s I have made over 40 phone calls to the helpline and complaints team and been Into branch twice and still No money of mine back they have lied about how it was being paid back And when ,financial ombudsman on the case now and a solicitor .
